we got at least 8 inches to foot of snow. sitting here without power right now.

Good morning, GB! That’s a lot for you guys! Are you and your brother going to enjoy it? Very rare for you to have snow. You are never to old to make snowmen, snow angels, snow forts, and have snowball fights.

A first for me also! I got a pretty good idea which store they came from. We just bought fish batter the day after new year’s and it didn’t even get into my house. Opened it up and there’s bugs galore scurrying around. I’m guessing they have a problem. I hate that! I prefer shopping there because it’s small mom and pop store and mom is a Canuck, BTW.

A day late and a dollar short, but Thank you for the post and pics of Scarborough Bluffs. Beautiful place!

Should just keep the batter-dump it overboard next summer as bait.

Ah the Bluffs-lived down there for 10 yrs on the boat from May till Oct usually.
Literally another take of the "The Floating Trailer Park Guys" But on the other hand the lifestyle of the floating homes/boats couldn't be beat.

An escape from the work load of running the company-used to put the ride in low gear-crank the Santana up-and slowly wind my way down the hill into the marina everyday, leaving the city behind.
The Bluffs are truly a hidden gem within a big city.

After the page loads out, the first in the water photo show a large vessel in the upper left at the end of the dock, friends of ours in 'Chillin"
It was a 1/4mile walk to get to the boat from the parking lot, so it was a nice stroll down the docks to ours a few times a day.

Best advice I can offer you WD... is never trust a Canadian holding a bowl of 'mystery food' wanting to enter your house. :laughing7:
The 'Bluffs' area of Toronto was a great place to grow up back in the 60s & 70s, thankfully my parents had a a couple of acres of land behind our house.

Morning everyone. My apologies for being so lax in visiting and seeing "what's new" with everyone, but you know how the memory (:icon_scratch: What's that you ask?) works as we get less young. Seems like nothing is remembered without a notification lately.
Even my body is sending strong notifications these days that it's only a dream and I'm not really standing at the loo. :censored: :laughing7:

Boy oh boy, do I have a lot of catching up to do.

I've been enjoying it.

Morning Pete... And welcome aboard the RCT. :)

We had a 2486 Triton. It was always a dream for me to cross Lake Erie, visit Canada. That dream is over. [emoji22]

I loved that drive down the Brimley Road hill as well Jim.
I entertained a number of girlfriends in the parking area immediately to the left at the bottom of the hill. :tongue3:

I never knew you lived in one of those homes at the park marina, that was a pretty exclusive community down there.
I knew this, because they always refused entry to me and my dates. :laughing7:

Morning GB, PetesPockets

I'm off everyone... gotta take the puppy for a walk, as she's driving me crazy! :tongue3:

Hope you all have a great Monday.

Morning WD, IH, SP and PP55

Sorry to hear that you were never invited into the park-well other than do your parking. Being what it was the security gates were a great measure in keeping the boats safe-the watchful eyes of many neighbours was great.
Then again "Boat etiquette" Was paramount when walking to and from one's vessel-no looking left or right as one might view something that would rent space in the head.
Then again you parading around over at the beach in the banana hammock was a topic of conversation over many a tossed beers amount the boaters.
:laughing7:
