Something not right there pepper.....first off the copyrighted material.....this means that intellectual property is protected by contract....this means that this is bigger and they know more than there letting on. I get the feeling its an attempt to draw investment attention....who knows how many ducks are in a row for its salvage. Could be a legal recovery...might not be...funny how its all boxed up and looks like its been shipped out of country....feels like something fishey going on there....IMO. not enough info, and asking the wrong questions for an experienced salvor...I could be very wrong also....ill let others ask the tough questions and stay silent for now. Valuable piece...hard to guage size also...looks like a latanka.

I picked up a few on sale last year at Harbor Freight. I've been kinda surprised how they have worked out. I carry one in my Kawasaki Mule.

I've not tried it on real heavy loads , but read that a tire used inline reduces shock and adds a kind of leverage when using chains or straps.
A smaller tire (I know RTR you're not looking for more stuff to tote into site) can be used as a weight in case of a broken strap or chain to prevent or reduce whiplash.
Kind of like laying a coat or blanket over a strained rope ect in case it breaks.
No , we shouldn't overload. Says the guy who broke a rope multiple times recently. (Bad rope.)
