Pretty cool. Will they get to keep any of it? Or get some $$ out of it? They have to turn it all over to the authorities, correct?

Yes if it's in the news it has been turned in/reported already.
It's then decided if it's a treasure.
Probably a no brainer for that decision.
Then it goes through the process of valuation.
Once that the value has been set, the first right of refusal will be the BM.(British Museum)
If they say no to the treasure then it's returned and the finders can do what ever.
If the valuation can be appealed by the finder as well.
Meanwhile we are looking at 2023 for this to happen.

I know that there can be many hidden things.
Just in my berry patch for example things were exposed and I thought well- yup I knew that I found a name.
Brickyard Berries.

Thanks for the reply, pepper. I thought there was a protocol over there.

Yes, Bart, you should because you could. Geesh you could have a variety of treasure from anytime in history, old to recent.

Sorry, it took so long to get back. I got stuck watching videos on gold mining. Roger, I am glad you are back and finding the good stuff.

Good morning releventchair. I like Tater Salad, too. Funny guy!

Here's a recipe courtesy of Bart-not ours this guy is from the Netherlands.

Chraime-Fish in a spicy tomato sauce.

I did it!

I did NOT feel like going out hunting today. I haven't been seeing any deer, and not to mention that we have a 300+ lb. bear roaming the woods now. So yeah, I didn't feel like walking all the way to the back of my property to see nothing and get mauled by a bear. But I went anyway, and I brought pencils and a sketch pad. Talk about good attitude! I sat in the stand for about an hour, sketching out soldiers, and then I heard footsteps to my right. I saw a deer moving through the brush, and believing it was a doe, put the pad on my lap, put the pencil in my mouth, and looked through the scope to see what it was. All I saw were antlers. As I was looking through the scope, I hear CLING! CLANG! DING DING! My sketch pad fell onto the metal stand! The deer didn't even look. I went into panic mode, fumbling with the safety (this is my first year ever rifle hunting) and trying to find him in the scope. He went behind a tree, and when he came back out, I shot. I was so focused on loading another round, that when I looked up, the deer scared the living daylights outta me by running straight towards me! I spit the pencil out, and tried aiming again, but he flew past me and I heard him crash later on.

At first, we couldn't find any blood. Zero. Hell, I didn't remember where the deer was standing. It happened so fast, I didn't even record any detail in my memory. How could I have missed? Finally, by random chance, my mama found one splotch of blood. One. Uno. Ein. We looked forever, but eventually we found him really close to the stand, crumpled up. He made a circle and we didn't know it. It's a beautiful nine pointer, and definitely mountable. I was shocked. I didn't even know what I hit. I thanked God profusely, and helped my dad drag it back. It weighs 200 lbs. field dressed.

Thank you God!

A lil late to the party, (as per usual), but congrats!

Now does that mean you crossed something off your "Buck" list? :tongue3:

Good afternoon, Sir WHADI.

Good afternoon, boatlode.

Milady!

We have a couple of zucchini's to use up for supper so here goes.

I remember I roasted zucchini in Parmesan in the summer, but it wasn’t all of those ingredients. This looks really good. I’m going to give it a try sometime. Thank you, Bill.

LOL I believe I did. But I experimented. Some of the recipes Bill posted made the squash family have substance. And I must confess once I learned how to fry squash in a southern style, I liked it. We had that the most.
