My former employer the CPR have an annual tradition going back about 25 years now of sending out a holiday train along the whole network both in Canada and the U.S. (the U.S. network is the old D&H, Soo Line & DM&E).

They stop at various locations and raise funds and food for the food banks great cause. Nice to see them giving back not sure if it's on this year or not with covid and all. They also have music performers who donate their time to give free shows.

2021 is just around the corner now... sheesh... what a long strange trip its been.

It stayed in the -double digits all day, along with a slight breeze so it was chilly- no, actually it was damn right uncomfortable.
Added a small heater and turning on the water warmer in the barn, added another heat light in the brooder area for the young ones.
It's hard to bet motivated when it dips down quickly and there's still a lot of moisture about.
Turned on the main floor hydronic base boards as the split-air was working hard to keep up.
