T-minus three days until opening day for Deer.

Heading into Toronto with my daughter today, we're taking my Mom out for lunch... which is always interesting.

At 86, my mother now has no filter when it comes to voicing her opinions about me, my wife and our 17 year old daughter.
My only hope is that I remember to bite my tongue and that my daughter doesn't become the target of her criticisms.

A lot of this stems from a few years ago when my mother told me, "that our daughter needed more discipline."
Our daughter is smart, makes good decisions and has a great sense of humor (a lot like her Dad ) I think she's turned out just fine.

Hot & humid weather here with a chance of thunder storms in the afternoon... all I can say is, this should be an interesting day.

Deer Hunting in Ontario
Mid-September generally marks the open season for small game and waterfowl hunting, as well as moose and deer.
The season lasts to mid-December.
Bear hunting is in the fall season.

I found this interesting… use Kool-Aid for attracting deer.
Dump a bag of water softener salt on the ground and mix it up with the dirt and then sprinkle a cup or so of the Kool-Aid on top of it.
The deer find it within hours and keep coming back for the salt.

We feed them corn for about half a year (allowed by law), and put a quarter cap full of kool-aid onto a salt/mineral block. Works good!

I’ve been doing dishes for darn near every day since I was 12. Hate it , even with a machine! When hubby goes away, I don’t do crap until the day he is coming home. Most times I don’t even eat.

One plate,one cup,one knife,one fork,one spoon,that is how you keep dish washing down,or you could use paper plates.I NEVER use the dishwasher either.
