Good point !! They once ran up on us all hot with there tender because we were fishing so close. They thought we were trying to get the GPS numbers...wich I did...but when they saw us all holding knives with a 100 + sharks on deck they had second thoughts about screaming at us and hit the road.

I suggest telling tha State if we got caught we just lookin for some iron WD had found and dumped in tha waters. Just doing this State a good deed.

I always throw some trash in the boat....yes sir were doing our good deed and picking up the trash as we snorkel !!.....can you believe all the bottles people throw overboard sir !!

Good morning Bart & good job on picking up the junk. We recently had a drive here in Lachine where a group of divers recovered a couple of tons of junk from the lake.

I spend alot of time and breaths on untangling rope from the reef every trip. Miles of lobster trap rope is tangled in the reef from the dry tortugas to miami !! I try to get a little out everytime !!

I could only imagine. They are in a vulnerable position.
That encounter breaks the ice for next time.
You can get closer and then tell them you were tracking an 18 footer headed their way .
