Change of plans. we are FINALLY going to Perryville tomorrow! Instead of relic hunting though, I found a nice antique shop that sells relics picked up from after the battle, so I'll do that instead. I heard from a veteran relic hunter that Perryville has been picked clean, and I likely wouldn't find anything with the machine I have now. Just one more reason to get an Equinox!
My Hotchkiss shell should be here tomorrow too.
I love it when someone tells me a spot is "picked clean"... heh
Two things immediately cross my mind...
1. They are not me.
2. They don't want anyone else hunting that spot. :P
I believe you too. My detector just won't do it as good as some of the newer ones. Good reason for an Equinox...
That whites is a good detector... you want to find things with it ?
Run in pinpoint mode.
hmmm wait.. I cant remember... does that unit have trigger ? ? ? (toggle)... ?
If memery serves the srtup is a lot like the IDX I had years ago that I donated to my girl when I met her *sheesh been over 13 years now :"/
RR... run that cord straight away from coil... move slow... sweep low and slow... crank up volume with threshold to what I call mosquito level.
Stay scraping soil lightly... move in circles even if change in sound.
Not sure if this will help... but try it.
Do you think the last 4 of the 11, 1715 are Spanish treasure fleet ships? After playing the World of Warships on Apknite, I suddenly think 7 of the ships of the are off the coast of fort pierce and Vero Beach in Florida and have had some treasure found in them, where do you think the last 4 are and do you think they will ever be found?
