THE INJURY THREAD. Post your wounds here.

Hi AARC: I'll answer the FROM later. My toes were made of plastic when I was a kid. No choices were given. PEACE:RONB

Read the original post kids. Any and all injuries are welcome. Barker, you got pics?
Jeffy, I know you got some ailment....figured you would be the first to post.

I really want this thread to have legs, especially if they're broken.

well Bigdealdave I may have posted first, however I do still work for a living

image.jpeg4-5 months later, healed, but scarred.

That was my left leg/ankle.....courtesy of my boss and the wild goose chase he sent me on to find property markers in the woods, back in March maybe?....still got scars. Hold on....wait for it.

wow! guessed wrist, you must have chicken legs

I have great legs I'll have you know.

BWD,

Those fire ants are nasty little devils....got about 30 or 40 bites on my legs several years back and puffed up like yours...after that long pants even in summer when detecting and sorry no pics.

I've sliced my fingers with broken bottles, can slaw, etc over the years....and who says this is a relaxing sport...lol.

Regards + HH

Bill

That's the spirit of this thread, you are always welcome to visit this thread with pics when the opportunity arrives, thanks for sharing your story, I feel your pain.

Oh whoa is the toe that looks like jello...
Be café full when you walk... not to step on my foot...
for my toe is so slow to grow a nail from soot...

I know my toe makes you cringe and weep...
but be thankful your toe does not ooze and seep...
Just pray that my toe will once again begin to grow...
and a nail begins to stop the blood flow... for you know... having a sore toe... really does blow.

:P

An ode to my toe, my wife is so proud.

I ran in to the back of a car doing about 75 MPH on a motorcycle, racing on the "cruising strip" in Portland OR.
No pictures 'cause I was wearing shorts, no shirt, no helmet! No place for the camera!

Ugh!....when was this?...

Ugh!....when was this?...

Let me think.....:icon_scratch:
Around 1985. I hit the car with my shoulder and left side of my head...The people waiting for the bus said a did about 4 somersaults (I was out cold) and landed on my feet. Bent the forks of the bike into the engine (tire between the header)
Big lump on the shoulder.....one week later I was installing new forks on the bike (Suzuki GS 750) With my arm still in a sling! Dented the hatchback on the car....:laughing7:

Good story OV...I can see your loved ones shaking their heads in dismay, as you were preparing for your next ride. Solid.

I still lived at home....My parents did a lot of head shaking.

A few years later I was screaming up the Rogue river and hit some gravel on the outside of the road...( to fast for the corner..) and hit a dirt bank.
I had to walk 4 miles up river ( Place called cougar lane...) https://www.cougarlane.com/ to call for a ride! I had on leathers and a helmet, walked away. The front of the helmet was packed with dirt from the bank! (All around the open visor of a full face helmet) Broke the bikes frame. I soon gave up street bikes.:laughing7:
