Started My 6" Build

God I hope so!!! My goal is 20-30oz for the year...oh hell I want a wheel barrel full of gold!!!!!!!! I need to recover $20,000 to $30,000 in gold and then next year I may take a trip to lower Alaska for a extended dredging trip to some hard to get into areas... Our regs are no more the 5" nozzle opening and 15hp limit
That is for sure a heck of a lot of gold. But, its all possible the other day idk where it was at. .. I was reading some thread and supposly someone have found a paystreak with about 600ounces and didnt have to go to far; rite in the US. Sometimes we want to predict but we just dont ever know whats waiting for those who is washing stream bed material in a gold bearing country.

Done with my flare. Considering I didn't have a brake it turned out ok.

Hmm, I have a guy wanting to trade a nearly new Colt LE6920, 500 rounds or ammo and 10 silver eagle's for my 4" dredge. I want cash, $1500. Does anyone know how to sell a gun for the most money? I see they sell new for around 1100ish but I know you cant sell guns on ebay or cl...pawn shops are a ripoff I don't know how else to sell it if I trade. Does anyone have a idea?

You could put it on gunbroker, it's like eBay for guns.

My winch system. I'm missing pieces of it...kind of a bummer but I'll try to fab something to make it work, <img src="http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=954758"/> Really looking like a dredge now! <img src="http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=954759"/>
Looking good Comments I have : Your going to have the same issue I had with the gold divers couple jet. Sticks way out front I actually cut a foot of pipe off the jet and it still stuck way out there. It worked ok but there were times a more compact dredge would have been nice Unless u build a arm out to hold that weight up, chains from your forward brace will hold it up but pull the jet back towards the sluice at the same time. Make sure you account for that constant force in both the strength of your jet and bracing of your sluice. Something has to hold it back. That jet will be heavy full of water and the more angle the more stress. Yes part under water some but still heavy. That weight up front could nose down your dredge. Compensate that by enabling your sluice to move forward and back. Your kinda limited with your center head brace in one position.

before you do anything ask the guy if the police can run the Guns numbers to check it out!

Thanks, I was planning on a pipe that would connect the 2 towers and would slip forward to hole the jet. I was kind of wanting to use a 3 to 5' piece of hose to connect the jet to the flare. I read something that with a trijet, it created better suction when place further away from the flare. I figured it would do the same with my omnijet. You right about my center tower and weight distribution on the head of the dredge. I guess I'll add provisions to adjust the center tower back and try to get everything more centered. I figured the sluice weight with water running down would compensate for this but knew in the back of my mind it was going to be a issue. I also planed on being able to lock down my sluice from moving forward or back, just haven't got to that yet.

Thank you much for the input. I welcome all input good or bad.

I didn't think of that Jack. I just checked it out...lots of guns. If I do the swap I want to flip if fast so I can order my pumps...

Anyone have a idea of what a Colt AR15 LE6920 (I guess LE stands for Law Enforcement) with 500 rounds would be worth? I see new ones without ammo selling for $1100, don't see many used ones and the ones I do see, they seem to be wanting almost new prices.

The silver eagles I see are selling on ebay for $27-28 a piece so 10 would be $270-280.

He also gave me the options of several pistols also. Don't know what would sell faster.

Grr what ever happened to just cash!

Rus, good tip. This guy is 65 and a nurse so who knows maybe he is a criminal mastermind,,, He lives in Spokane Washington.

Have him sell it and give you the cash. If you don't want the guns, he gets your dredge, and you get a chore. Donbu't know about Idaho, but in CA, some guns require a licensed dealer to make the exchange, which would probably stick you with the fee. Can you post a picture of the dredge?

My 4" from last year.

I think I mentioned that in my CL add. I stated no trades, if they have trades then sell and bring me the cash. I have another guy from Salem Or. who also wants it but he doesn't have the cash. He's trying to round it up. For me its first come first serve.

Seems like a very fair price, proline pump, HF honda knock off?

Our out of state mercury recovery rig, last years burnt to the ground, claims are in a deep canyon, narrow creek, so the replacement is a Keene 4 inch mini, proline pump, honda 6.5 , twin cylinder Thomas compressor, new full face masks and regulators. If the season goes well, we have another 6.5, proline and t-80, would need a box frame and floats. Thinking of switching to gold hog matting, as this area is loaded with black sands. A long hike out loaded with extra black sand.

Use extreme caution when cutting jets shorter as ez to screw'm up. You must have a good amount of water within to create the vacuum to PUSH the incoming water with. Otherwise you end up with a fountain spraying past the end of your dredgebox and squat for suction--Must ask--burnt to the ground? wildfire or ecos?cdfg?-John

Oak, it's a Subaru EX17. Not a knock off that I know of. It's rated just as good as the Honda but somewhat cheaper. Nice looking rig, hopefully all goes well for you this season and no forest fires happen!

Nothing left to burn. Subaru is getting to a pretty popular power plant, how is the power and fuel economy
