Some fall field finds.

Greetings friends.
I have been hitting several old farmstead sites and found a few goodies. The medium sized copper is an 1835 British Farther [1/4 Penny] and the 1816 Kreuzer is an Austrian coin.
Sure hope we have more warm weather before the ground freezes.

GULP. That's a pretty awesome collection of goods there...in various departments. I love the old Brittish coins and the seated and 3 center. The pic with the ring and all that other stuff looks like alotta interesting stuff too. Congrats, hope you have some more oppotunities before the winter weather kills it.

Wow Merf, I see you haven't been letting the detector gather dust. Thats a nice haul of oldies. The old foreign coins are sweet. Of coarse good old US silver can't be beat. You even got a nice shield nickel.

I found an identical Motor Bicycle tag earlier this season, I posted it in the Illinois forum. Found at a local park, just under the surface. Strange, huh?
