Nothing compared to what some others have posted, but for a newbie on public land (Cache Creek), I'm pretty happy with it. You can see a nice little "micro-nugget" in the top of the vile, I know its not much, but it is the biggest I've ever found, and it made my week.

I have to finish cleaning it up, but I had a pretty good day on clear creek in Denver yesterday, I'll try to post pics once I have them

AM87 that is a great start! Love that you've already hit a couple different spots too. You'll learn much quicker that way.

impressive John! Those years of experience keep paying off :)

Killer shine, and walked the canyon yesterday packing stuff out so the thieves don't get the rest of it. I can relate to the soreness..

I seemed to be on every single piece of trash all day, bullets, casings, nails, spikes, bolts , hammer head, wire, classifier, ect My detecting buddy did coax this little specimen out about a hour after we got there...

Nice picture John, there used to be quite a few "old buildings" till in the 70's then the forest service burned them down/got rid of them. Real shame to as they served a good purpose of keeping campers safer in wet weather.

I'm working at getting back to Cali for another shot at them thar hills but it will be awhile yet, 2017 to 2019 time frame.

Happy New Year......................63bkpkr

Nice sulphides there Oakview2!!

Went back to that spot last weekend, but the spot I wanted to work was in the shade and the ground was frozen solid.

One good day

Need more
