I wouldn't have known either.
My Intreast has always been in U.S. History, and
in Particular Pensylvania History.
So, Since School Only Taught World History, I was always
"Out to Lunch" During History Class.

nahabit, No need to send children's book.But you are funny. Most Americans know about the Russian Front and the history of World War II. All we have to do is watch television. We have here many history channels.
My Grandparents on my Mothers side were from Lithuania and I still have relatives over there.
My Dad fought in the Anzio invasion of Fascist Italy.
These are great pictures and I have enjoyed them.
