Russian battlefield

The Russian front was the eastern front.

The western front was Europe.

Thank you, I didn't know. ?I'm not up on my European military history.

Question, are these items from the Russian front or Eastern front?

(This American does not know difference).

Don't feel too bad about that Spike,
I wouldn't have known either.

My Intreast has always been in U.S. History, and
in Particular Pensylvania History.
So, Since School Only Taught World History, I was always
"Out to Lunch" During History Class.

At me many photos with finds and excavation have accumulated, but I do not know what to place at a forum? Whether ethically to expose photos on which bones and skulls are visible?
I can send you the children's textbook on a history:):)

How is that in Russia that it is illegal to have gun and a person can get up to 10 yrs minumum in prison for having one, and here it is that its ok to dig one up and pose with it. I am not sure on all the laws, but I have contacted a russian law firm to check out all the laws. I think its ok to dig up the tanks or stuff but it is very disrespectful to descecrate anybody's grave no matter who they are. Imagine the families who grave's you are doing that to.

I take it ethically in your country, you are not doing anything
Wrong, by posting Bones & Skulls. and this is a World Wide Forum.

S O

in My opinion, Since there are So Many Sites on the Internet,
About wars, and their Consequences, and archeology Sites, who Don't see it being Wrong,
I Don't see anything wrong
Either.

However, Please Understand, There are MANY in the U.S.
Who Do for some reason, get upset when they see them here.

I Will Try my Best, To see that Everyone here Gives you Respect,
Being that you are One of our International Friends.

Just do ME a Favor And Keep the Bone and Skull pictures
to a Minimum ;D
So I Don't have to Keep Deleting angry and OFF Subject comments.

Which I Will Do from this point on, From ALL posts.

nahabit, No need to send children's book. :D But you are funny. Most Americans know about the Russian Front and the history of World War II. All we have to do is watch television. We have here many history channels.
My Grandparents on my Mothers side were from Lithuania and I still have relatives over there.
My Dad fought in the Anzio invasion of Fascist Italy.

These are great pictures and I have enjoyed them.

So what did the Russians call the Eastern Front because it was geographically to their West until they declared war on Japan and attacked them in Manchuria (which would have then been their Eastern Front and for the Japanese their Western Front.) ;) ;D ;)

Fascists named Russian front east front, Russian soldiers named German front the western front, and in war with Japan at all there was no front
