Return to Surprise Field & Carpark Field...UPDATED

Shaun7 & I spent several hours finishing a small corner on the Carpark Field, where I got a Hammered, 1818 Sixpence, Celtic Ring (2000 years old) :o
Then we noticed they had cut the 3 ft weeds in an area we couldn't cover, so went over & did it. This is where I had the stunning large 17th Century Buckle.
Last hour or so was in the Surprise Field where I finished on a Scrappy & Roman Brooch.

Hammered of Charles I Halfpenny, rose on both sides :icon_thumright:

Rained the whole time, just as I like it

At least I will have had some finds in June :)

Re: Return to Surprise Field & Carpark Field...UPDATED

UPDATED:
Before we went on this hunt we did a small strip where a hedge had been ripped up, full of rubbish, no finds for me other than this bottle:
CALIFORNIA FIG SYRUP CO.
Sterling Producte (Inc)
Successor

Not very old, circa 1900 & common but at least complete. I miss bottle digging :(
