I'm not a big fan of photos of myself, but this one has always been my favorite. Back when I was doing living history this pic was taken to illustrate a meeting between General Reynolds and General Buford in the days leading up to the battle at Gettysburg. The meeting was said to have taken place just before Buford's brigades rode into Pennsylvania.

The photo was taken only 20 yards from the spot where Reynolds fell on July 1, 1863. I am on the left (Reynolds).

This guy is a brave one. Sits right outside the door every night.
Dog walks over it, on the return gives it a sniff, and it just sits there.
