This is why, whenever you're away from home, you ALWAYS keep your gun within arm's reach. Ooops!

Blak bart, thanks for giving us an update on your circumstances in the after-Irma Florida Keys. Please continue. I look forward to seeing your photos of your area and activities. Very glad you came through okay.

Here's the first "Ooops!" photo in a while that does not show the result of somebody's unwise decision. I was wondering how paint from the buckets in the back got all the way forward onto the car's windshield. Then I noticed the big gap around the hood of the red car. Apparently there was a collision, caused by the driver of the red car, not the driver of the paint-spattered car, which is in its proper lane.

I think the moral in this story is that you never know where a hand up will come from...

Lately I've been including some "observational analysis" with each of these Ooops photos... but I think I should just let this one speak for itself.

Looking at the right side of the dirt is a good thing in my book. Good to hear from you!

All i hope is when its all said and done for you that some old treasures got all stirred up from the waves! [emoji2][emoji106]

Another "Ooops!" photo which speaks for itself. But I must say... I've noticed that metal-detector users tend to pay much more attention to what's on the ground near their feet than non-detectorists. I find LOTS of money and other cool stuff because I look at where my feet are going. My wife doesn't, so she trips over stuff all the time. The lady in the photo obviously didn't notice what's on the ground in front of her feet before she sat down.

I dont know how I ever made it through life without that knowledge. I can tell you guys that I was definitely guilty of over using the hot curling tools. Well not any more...... thanks jenny. Ill be able to curl my short hair in record time so I can look my best and be at the top of my treasure hunting game. Man you learn somthing new every day. Dont forget your hairpins and spray bottles guys, this is the most fun ive had since hurricane irma.

Speaking of Hurricane Irma....
We've seen lots of photos of hurricanes as they look from the Space Station and satellites. But here's the first one I've seen which shows a hurricane so big it covers the dividing-line between day and night. This is Irma, in daylight on the photo's right, dawn at the center-left, and night at the far-left. You can see the long dark shadows cast by Irma's clouds as the sun rises in the east, dawn breaking over Puerto Rico with still many lights on in coastal towns, and nighttime-lights burning brightly in the Dominican republic, which is still entirely in night's darkness.

For additional enjoyment, use T-Net's super-enlargement option by clicking several times on this amazing photo.

My debri pile was so big it blocked my whole house from view !!
I got internet and tv now !! Wooo hoooo !! Im back !! Did you guys know that football season started and another hurricane wiped out puerto Rico !! Wow what else did I miss.

Normally... I never miss detecting beaches after a good storm churn action...
BUT...
I have been WAY too busy getting things back in order.
also...
To be honest...
This storm sorta caught me off guard... which normally would not be the case... normally I am prepped to a certain degree for these things...
But I must admit that after moving a,couple years back I became slack and disorganized.

Two words.

Never again.

Heh
