Apparently, I have a little Christmas treasure. This, I am fairly certain, is a Fontanini Nativity set that has been set out ever since I can remember. I know they started making the nativities in the 1960's. I was born in 1963. Fontanini was/is a Catholic supplier. My mom was Catholic (excommunicated, but still claims it). It is stamped on the bottom, "Made In Italy." I told MR WD last night that it needed it's own storage box to better protect it. I found them online ranging from $200-$450. I suspect the price varies on the time of year. Plus, there is a bit of bark broken off. But still a nice surprise though.

Let's hope so. Maybe you should let Bella watch the cat video so she will know how to scare one off? :laughing9:

Maybe you should carry a shotgun when you let her out. Seriously, that could be horrific!

You are just partial because I am of German & Polish decent. You got an eye for the European. LOL!

My wife is half German and half Blackfoot Indian. Imagine that combo :icon_scratch:

Last night Mr WD said that he bought me a surprise and it was down in his Mancave room. For me, right! He was just searching the net and found this add. Turns out the guy lives right up the road from us, so he went and bought all this for $200. My Christmas shopping for him is done. LOL!

Alright!

I'm liking the old outboards in the background....

I see a Johnson 100 B in the box of reels? Worked on them plenty of times. Keeping the drag happy. Caught my first steelhead with one. About a five pounder.
The red one with the hole for the line to go through the center of the cover is familiar. ....Might have one somewhere.
A bunch of Zebco reels in the pics too. Been in the guts of that brand many times. Clean the sand out ,(c'mon kid ,quit getting sand in the reel!) inspect gears ,lube .

Z.E.B.C.O.
Zero Hour Bomb Company.

Where many manufacturers were involved in war time production by reducing output of their standard fare to supply the military , I think Zebco was originally a military supplier that sought other products to build post war. Foggy memory though , and it's only been a couple cups of coffee so far. (Too lazy to look it up...)

The pack rod with it's fabric case is neat too. Often priced at a premium when new...Meant I never scored one.

Cork grips look pretty decent from what I can see. There is a two handed one (?) that is interesting.
Guy had collected quite a mix ,for sure.

Sis, 200$ for all this poles and stuff is simply a joke! GREAT deal!!

Remembers me on a flea market deal I made approx 15 years ago. Bought a box full of this RC car and plane motors for just 20 bucks and made some days later 800 out of it :laughing7: Most of the engines was brand new.
