The steering broke on my skiff last year and I did the same thing. Only I wasnt trying to beach my boat. I was hunting bottles on my birthday by myself, and it took me until midnight to get my boat back in the water. I missed my own birthday party and the family was pissed. I was ejected out of the boat and landed face first in the sand. I was lucky with no damage except a mouth full of sand. Can't believe I didn't get hurt !! I put sticks and small logs down and slowly inched my boat back to the water. Not only that but 2 1800s bottles got smashed in the process. I won't forget that birthday !!

I saw something similar in the 70s when there was a famine catastrophe in Biafra People there had also legs like tooth sticks.

But the movies are great again Rook!
