I love those old roadsters. But I wonder if the early Cobras with the small engine's were ever turbo- charged.
There is an old joke about British roadsters. You know why the British don't build computers? Because they couldn't figure out how to make them leak oil
But I would still love a 69 Jaguar.

========I did retire from the agency, even planned on keeping it that way. Wife and I could not decide where of what to do; then my old agency sent my family and I to the presidents inauguration and parties as the agency rep. Everyone knew how displeased I was with the recent events in our agency and that I was retiring. My mate offered me a very nice appointment, just for a few years. It was only going to go until the end of the current pres term but I have sorted matters out much faster.
So I am looking for the exit now so to speak. They really just needed someone from outside the government to come in and swing that iron fist, then if a complaint happened they could fall back on an excuse along the lines of "well he has not been exposed to US government diplomacy".
Worked to, complaints really rolled in. Saved millions though and hurt more feelings than they expected.
