I Love lamb shank ,(done right, fall off the bone). And for being a 'cheap cut' it aint cheap !

Since I was a kid I never understood people like the taste of lamb, sheep, deer, rabbit, goose etc.
I can not stand it (except in a survival situation and when I shoot it myself )
I love pork, chicken and sometimes beef but not often.
May it depends on the recipes and how it is done but when my parents cooked some kind of "exotic" meat, it never tastes good for me.
On the other hand, when my mom owned a hotel with restaurant in the late 70s, she had a specialty there with different kind of smoked ham like lion, bear etc. and this was delicate for me!!!
