After reading some of these Diaries of a southern females at a a plantation in the south and Diaries of slaves. My mind has really changed about slavery. Slavery in general is bad but the way the schools and how people have Twisted history makes it sound like every Plantation owner an overseer was brutal to the slaves. And it's pretty far from the truth, yes some plantation owners was super brutal and even killed slaves. But therwereas some plantation owners that was really good to them.

No my favorite diary was a woman who was born in 1800s and got to see the change into the 1900s. She really describes in detail how things have changed.
