I sometimes use Firefox but the stealth mode version if I don't want to be tracked, like you for generic sites like detecting forums, etc...I don't bother. But no matter how careful we think we are pretty much everything we do online is tracked, analysed, stored, etc...
I don't use the cloud for storage of data but I bet you dollars to donuts everything we do online gets stored there whether we realize it or not.

I am constantly looking around on the internet and I was aware of what Edward Snowden had revealed. But one day I discover every keystroke you input is being logged by private companies. Analytics. Companies hire third party people to do this.
So I looked into security stuff. Keylogging used to be considered hacking lol. I just don't care for such snooping. For example let's say you think I will apply for a credit card online. You begin filling out the form and maybe give some private information. But then you change your mind and don't submit the form. Maybe you even erase all the fields you filled out. But even so analytics tools grab all that information and log it!
If you want to see for yourself download Ghostery for your phone or computer. It will show you every analytic every site is running when you visit it.
The thing is Tom, doing research to restore a boarding grenade, could suddenly find himself answering a lot of questions.

After being married for a few years, I realized the logic in courtship. Both people really need to get to know the family of the other before making the commitment to each other. A person has shared characteristics, personality traits and genes. The older I get, the more I look like my Polish relatives, i.e hair loss and weight; and the more my nose grows like my Dad's big German honker! LOL! Poor Mr. WD! fortunately for him, I have more of my Dad's personality than my Mom's or else he would be banging his head as much as Simon does. :BangHead:

I haven't calculated the views. I have been keeping stats on the posts. This thread (as of yesterday) is averaging 71 (rounded) posts a day. At this pace it will surpass RPT in less than a month and a half; New Contest in 3 months; and Crispins Critters in 7-1/2 months. Pretty crazy. It appears to be the fastest growing thread! :hello2:

I guess that's why MR. jeff can't keep up. :laughing7:

Well I have a question. Because I haven't gotten around to reading the rules and stuff. What is the red ribbon thing by people's pic? And if you reply to someone without quotes do they know or do they have to figure it out.
People forget they are marrying the family as well.
It really takes a long time to get to know someone.
I think I need a woman to go treasure hunting. Maybe after I finish my wip on myself.
And I have a she shed for you. Mr. WD could build this out of scrap lumber in an afternoon.

The red ribbon is for Charter Member. Hang on and iwill post link for you. If you don't quote, yes they have to try and figure it out.

That is similar to what I want, believe it or not.

And, I guess, after reading the beginning of this thread, we should delete the pics in the quote.
