They will always be a 'sucker' to me.That's the Westfield River to the left merging with the Connecticut River.

Here's a 15 pounder Mike got a few days ago.

In Colorado we called them suckers. In Missouri they are carp. They don't have the vacumn cleanrr mouth.
In spring these big carp would congregate in a river which went into Table Rock. We threw out some corn and baited our hooks with more corn.
The road was blocked off when developers moved in.
There was a lawsuit. I'm not sure if one can still get to the arm now. People fished there for years.
 

We just had a family reunion at our cemetery. I forgot to find out where everyone was from. Most were from Ohio, but like an hour away. And I know there was a couple from Michigan. They haven’t been here since before we bought the place. They were very grateful that I have cleaned it up and maintained it. It was a neat experience!

I'm speaking of permissions, I have 200 acres I can hunt on an 1870s farmhouse. And plenty of contacts that have given me the thumbs up to hunt.

Haven't hunted up there yet, but my moms boyfriends has found silver dollars, halves quarters, gold rings. He learned in his front yard which produced over 20 silvers...very funny, would make alot of the veterans jealous.
