Thanks for posting one of my favourite bands. With the exception of Levon Helm the members were all Canadians and Eric Clapton was even considering joining them because he felt that they were the best band out there at the time.

You're welcome. They may have been the best and maybe still are. I believe Levon was born in Arkansas.
I never cared much for this song until I heard them perform it.

Yep Arkansas it was he and Ronnie Hawkins both came up to Canada together way back when and Ronnie put together the rest of the Band. They were his backup band for awhile and from there backed up Bob Dylan for awhile and then went solo.

They got tired of living on the road and their last hurrah! was the Last Waltz documentary put out by Martin Scoresee.

I guess everyone looks in the fridge sometimes and sees something and wonders what to heck and I going to do with that to use it up.

Well I've got a fairly large zucchini in the fridge to use up so here goes.

Ok , you music fans heres my cousin steve. Hes the one in blue , he drums, writes, and does some vocal too. Hes an original nerf herder since 94 !! They still jam and tour and have opened for and toured with a lot of great bands and shows. They have a crazy and very loyal fan base and there most famous tune (I think) is the buffy the vampire slayer theme song !! They have a bunch of other songs and vids. They sound like a cross between wierd al yankovich, and green day. They are pretty polished in there punk/pop sound. I only see steve on the holidays and at family functions. We sneak off and drink with other aunts and cousins and who ever !! And ya tom they got the name nerf herder from star wars. They are big fans !!
