RTR,

They still haven't figured out how they managed to build the pyramids so precisely given the supposedly crude tools and methods they had at their disposal back at that time.

You can't even pass a piece of paper between 2 stones and given the heavy weight of the stones how did they move them far out in the desert.

There's a lot more questions than answers unfortunately.

Follow the money........
I've done extensive research in college on the Great pyramids .And we know (now, decades later) very little more about them.
Why ? There's no money to be made in a Free and endless energy source.Someday, maybe, we'll know the rest of the story...But I doubt it.

Ive herd the story of the 14 galleons and everyone ive talked to about it are convinced that it was first thought the 1715 fleet sank there. But later it was confirmed to be the treasure coast. So that one didnt happen here, especially since only one fleet sailed a year most of the time. Hmmmmm.........1806 galleon....there are more than a few off elliott key and probably a few more that haven't been found. My friend marty meylach showed me on a map were 450 pieces of eight were found on elliott key. They were found in 1963 without a detector. Elliott is one of my favorite keys, many a ship went down off elliott. Black ceaser was there a notorious pirate. Supposedly there are 20 +tons of silver bars on elliott somewhere. Ive looked and still do. There could be some canidates for your 1806 galleon. Several ballast trails ive seen off shore and not granite/schooner ballast, but rounded river rock/galleon ballast. Do you have any info on it. ??

Ill check my potter and marx books

Thanks Bart. That info on the 14 galleons in 1715 off Long Key came from that old 1957 book I posted in your thread.I figured IT was confused with the Vero fleet.

Some stuff from the last few days diving. If anyone needs to call king neptune let me know ,this coral encrusted galaxy phone is a direct line !! Got a couple of nice soda bottles, ones from the 30s-40s. Got a nice old sprite and coke too. Also got a queen chonch shell and the horse conch are from a couple weeks ago and are nice and clean now. An anchor a day keeps the sharks away. Lol.

I watched it too. Sounds very reasonable.

Tom,

Actually I think gold boy should watch this since it will give him a great lesson in critical thinking which will help him with his studies and future work life....are you listening gold boy....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

So Climate Change robbed us of the secret of the Pyramids? &&@# you Climate Change!
Actually,I just realized what the Great Pyramid is:
The Pyramid is the space aliens Titantic.
They went on a cruise on the safest star cruiser ever built, and hit a meteorite in the dark because there is no light in the vacumn of space. A few survivors made it home in a few space lifeboats. However,it took a long time to find where the remains of the Pyramid Princess,as she was called. By the time some foolhardy explorers found her, we were here. So they took some film for a documentary and left her as a memorial. Oh yes, they made a romantic film which was really long.

Bart, it looks like you have had fun! I love the bottles.

I had a little success in my dirt fishing. But, some DUHmb arse used the sd card in her camera that the laptop can't read. So, go ahead rook3434 and post your favorite meme for me. Unfortunately, there were fish pics on it. I will try to get them at work this week. It's probably a good thing because I retook pics of the highlights and you are spared the trash from Saturday. There was lots of trash. The original campground owner talked to me for 30 mins +/- and was impressed with all the stuff I dug up. He was raised in the house across the street and he gave me the lay out as best he could remember of what it used to be. His son (the new owner) came and checked out my finds and told me to, "find something worth a million."

I started out on my own lot, which proved to be the most profitable. I found a quarter, a dime ( which I am 100% sure was ours to begin with because of the date), and 2 pennies. Then I went over to the boat trailer parking and I found the screw driver and the railroad spike. Both the owners are quite puzzled by that one. The other two cents were found over at the "hunting lodge" where I was told I would probably find older coins. So $0.39 on Saturday.

I also found these whatchamajiggies over by the boat trailers.

Today I went back to the lodge. I found two pennies by sight in the drive. Lots of trash. And I rescued a wheatie. Then, it was time to go down by the boat ramp to wait for Mr. Wd and the boys.

I found this "what's it" there. It says "SEARS" and "4.0" are on both ends. I found that little piece with it and I think it is broken off of it.

Here's my pennies.

I can't read the date very well, but I think it is 1946.

Anyway, I had fun. I learned a lot about my detecting tools and the history of the campground. AND, I didn't have to Perch fish. I hate perch fishing!

Good finds WD and i have my first banner woohoo :occasion14:
