Hello newcomers.

This year, my math teacher is not as horrible as my previous ones. By the end of the year, I'll be walking around with a white robe, protractor in hand, quoting Euclid. Okay, not that far. I'll just hate it a little bit less than I usually do.
Is that one of those white jackets with all kinds of straps and buckles?

Why does the rust count.....because it can be a big clue 20190822_104908.jpg20190822_104826.jpg when tracking these spanish treasures you need evidence. I've been to this ring and chain spot briefly before I went to the great lakes, and I'm pretty sure I'm on parts of an old spanish sword already. The round object is the pommel of a rapier style sword. The other piece is part of the guard or possibly from another sword. There were other hits here I did not dig. I moved on after finding iron. Never hurts to bring it home and clean it up for inspection....it could be important in a hunt like this.

Simon, I am on a video program. At our current financial state, we'd be broke if teachers came to my home.:laughing7:

On this day, August 22nd, 1862, General J.E.B. Stuart and his men rode across Harts Ford, and visited a little house, and left a button for me to find...

Looks like a part to sumthin'. :laughing7:

I'm just messin' with ya. I have no idea what it is.

That a interesting one fist thought was a coin purse frame but seems to heavy duty for that hmmmm

It would be about the right size but it is iron even though it is painted to look the part. Even the store owner doesn’t know what it was. Considering buying it (I know I’m a goofball) for decoration.
They also had 2 baggies of arrowhead pieces (broken) for $10.00 each but my gut says “I don’t know?”

Looks to me to maybe be the top of a small varmint trap.

Seems steep for broken pieces.
