They sucked. The roofers just finished putting on my whole new house roof, and both garage roofs Thursday. They had not gotten up the gutters yet. This was for storm damage last June/July. To my west we have Missouri River which flooded, to my east we have the Mississippi River flooded. On second thought, I better keep that life preserver for myself. My weather map shows you are sharing in the fun ?

I can't honestly find the quote, but when we got all the rain I believe the news said it was like 11 inches an hour, ( it was horrible ). A fairly well known college sportscaster and his wife was driving home on his street and stalled out. Since they lived close by, they decided to walk home. The current in the street was so strong that it knocked him down. They found his body the next day in a creek far away from where he had stalled.
