It is ivory and an incredible work of art. Bet it is worth some bucks but I don´t know what it was used for. Just decoration ?

I am out now to buy wood for new Bee Hives we make. The result will be posted

But I don´t accept any critics on the results!

Btw, in last time some destroy bee hives in our area which was placed in nature.... would like to catch those guys and teach them some hard lessons

Last year here, the bald faced hornets really took a toll on the honeybees. For whatever reason, the honeybee is their mortal enemy.

To bad about the beehives try putting up a webcam so if someone messes with them you at least have evidence and have the nearby beehive owners do the same thing. A few nice signs along these lines would probably help also "THIS SITE IS UNDER CAMERA SURVEILLANCE ANYONE FOUND CAUSING DAMAGES WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW".

Just translate to German first though....

Hey peeps... just wanna point out that this thread has surpassed any before it here on Tnet.

I am not sure how it compares to the old RPT as far as "hits" etc.

This thread is 1 year old as of last week... and sat at over 350,000 then.

Bill , that wasn´t our hives but only a few miles away! Anyway, such B/S makes me angry. Also this must be adult people who did that. We was also sometimes "destructive" like other kids but this goes a little bit too far - especially while EVERYONE knows about bees are dying in masses now.
