I've too much pride!
When it takes a cop to convince you to see the dental school dentists.. I'd feel like I was taking something I didn't earn.
Pride is a huge hurdle for me.
I know that the help is actually designed for people like my wife and I.
But prideless immoral people are draining the system.
I can't add to the burden.
We'd both ( wifey ) rather just suffer the that's life thing, hold our heads high and tomorrow is a new day!

cleaning out the gutters as we go into hurricane season. As I'm getting down the gutter I ran into this.....bird pepper growing in the leaf litter. every once in a while they magically appear from bird droppings. We will cultivate these and grow many more. These little peppers are no bigger than your pinky nail but pack a wallop !!! These tiny little guys are a secret ingredient in much Caribbean and island food, and are always in demand. They sell for 20 an ounce for sundried and do well as a pickled condiment. I'll see if I can clone this one and dedicate a spot for them.

Birds must have deposited that seee in the fork of the maple tree in the yard.
How it took root, no clue!
Been up there a few years now.
