View attachment 1692736 folks this is one of the best working, smoothest operating, solidly built pieces of machinery I've ever owned. A 1941, power king, electric jointer. It was dropped off to our shop for free. The person didn't even know if it worked. We cleaned, oiled, and rewired the motor. Then put a new belt on it and finally we sent the knives out and had them professionally ground and honed. We brought them to a local here in the keys, and hes quite the guy. His name is Bosworth and hes a well known knife maker world wide. He got them clean straight and sharp, and this machine is incredible.
I'm proud to have this 75+ year old machine doing work for us, and it will allow me to produce some awsome book end matched glue ups. When you push to pieces of wood together the seam is nearly invisible. And yes I chipped the edge not the machine. No tear or with this set up.
