This is my best copper: 1793 George Washington Ship Halfpenny. I dug it in a sloppy cornfield. :icon_thumleft:

Don't be shy, guys, and post that awesome copper! Tell us what kind of site it was dug at.

Keep the passion high!

I'm glad you posted that Brian  fantastic coin, just like the day it was made :o some of the over seas guys didn't beleive that they came out like that 8)

It's good for a copper but certainly different than the modern crap you were defending on that other thread.

8)
Not modern, Ancient coins....you just wouldn't except it... :boxing: me beating you :laughing9:

Don't make me go grab the image of that junky coin that created a huge thread. If you couldn't tell that's modern I feel sorry for you. It also explains why you have trouble buying off Ebay! 8)

Is there a ...you've been knocked out, smiley?

Wasn't refering to History Hunters coin ::) once again you have Brain Freeze :laughing9: I posted a comment about Roman Bronze coins being found in as good a condition as new, some people doubted this, including you ::) I never said HH coin was real ever, apart from trying to wind someone up

I don't buy of ebay for the reasons you know, and I don't have the spare cash, Hammered coins are a bit more complicated than Buttons ;D....think I beat the count :laughing7: can you handle 15 rounds:laughing9:

Yes and the ones you posted did not at all look like the modern copy that started the thread, yet you worked it into your argument. Apples and oranges.

Yeah you beat the count but your glass jaw is broken. Fight over. :headbang:

It's the only one I've seen dug period. It's a little strange that a GW button is considered rarer and is much more valuable, but yet we see many of them and not those coppers. There's a different set of rules for below ground!
