Pirate Chest: When to give up

I have always tried to think outside the box. Real world experience is the best way to learn. Seeing is believing. To each his own. Do your own thing. I don't care whether everybody believes what I have to say.

We will be burying some gold this week so that we can do some testing of a new device that is being built for us. It will either work or it won't. The only way to know is to try it out and do proper testing.

I hope to get a contract this week on a site where a pirate treasure chest of gold was found well over 100 years ago. We think there is another and it is big and deep.

I am going to be shown a property where the homeowner buried his life savings in the millions. He never showed anyone its exact location and died unexpectedly.

As soon as I can get ahold of the right equipment I want to pinpoint the location on a beach where we think a large amount of gold is buried.

I was in North Carolina a few weeks back to spend a little time on the pot of gold site. I have decided to leave it alone as finding the Confederate gold would have too many complications.

I am now in the zero turn lawnmower rebuilding and selling business. I just bought 6 Dixie Chopper mowers. None of them run but I will fix them and sell them. They are all 72 inch cut. One is a 50 HP turbo diesel and one has twin engines. I work out of my garage which now gives me the freedom to spend too much time on the computer. I am off and on it all day long as I find my deals on Craigslist. I now have about 30 zero turns so I need to stay off of Craigslist and quit buying them. I will transfer my computer addiction to spending more time on Treasurenet because it will help psych me up for treasure hunting.

100_3157.JPG A while back I was given a location on this property where there was supposed to be gold buried. I talked to the homeowner. I gave him the impression it was in the back yard. He said he was not interested. A few days later I drove by and could see a pile of dirt in the yard. I left a message on his mailbox. We talked. He said he drank some beers and decided to do some digging. He said he did not find anything. I met someone a few months later that knew him. They said he had told them he won a bunch of money in a contest. Who knows?

I have already been in contact with numerous production companies. I was under contract with one and a "sizzle" was made and shopped around. If I had agreed to do whatever they say and fake things I would probably have a show. I am ready to start figuring out a way to produce my own. It really does not take that much. The "Gold Rush" guys put together their own demo tape and that has worked out real well for them. I know we could put together a really great show.

BDD
Where you able to keep a copy of your "sizzle"? If so, why don't you post a link? I'm sure it will be entertaining. And maybe something will come from it.

I have a copy but the producer had asked me not to post it on the internet. That was a while back. I will ask him if it is okay to put it on here. It is kind of funny but they definitely made fun of us. One of the editors also edits the show "Impractical Jokers". I wrote a song called "Just another two feet down". We performed to it on a dig using shovels as guitars and the backhoe was behind on the other side of the hole and Dan had the scoop swinging to the beat. They did not put it in the sizzle. We were digging next to an old tree where some gold coins had been found on the edge of a pond. There was a whole lot of junk and it kept the metal detectors busy. Here is a pic of some of what we found.

100_2720.JPGThis was all within a 10 foot by 10 foot area. The world is full of junk. You can take a metal detector just about anywhere and find trash.

...
I see you and ECS still have your "like" affair going on. How do I get ECS to "like" me. 1460 posts and not a single one from him. It makes me so sad. I so much want to be "liked"...

Who cares about the producer, what does your agreement say?

You have the clip of Just Another Two More Feet Down? Theme songs are always good.

My contract has run out but I am not sure about the rights to the sizzle. I would rather get the okay from the producer that made it before I put it on the World Wide Web. It may be no big deal but you never know. I am sure that I have a copy of a short video clip of us performing the song "Just another two feet down". I will do a little searching for it.

Everybody criticizes the shows on TV. There are some good ones but there are more bad ones. I could tell that the production company I was signed with would have made a show that was just like the others. I am considering producing my own show and I guarantee you it would be different from everything else out there treasure-related.

I was going to try to make the "Swamp Gold" possible treasure on Alligator Alley one of the first episodes with the company I signed with. My Indian pal Duane at first did not want to be on the show but then he changed his mind. Not long after that he was killed in a head-on crash. It was very sad and brought an end to my treasure story there. I have been contacted a few times by a member of the Seminole tribe. He has access to the possible treasure site at "Cloud Mountain". He wants me to come down and work with him on doing a dig. I told him I won't be ready until I have better electronic equipment. I am working on that.

100_2548.JPG This is a pic from Cloud Mountain near Alligator Alley. I think there is a large amount of gold in a spot near here and also a pile of silver.

You want to ask for permission? Don't forget what happened when you asked for permission on the Rocky dig.

Cloud mountain? How did the Seminoles get control of Cloud Mountain and the all that lay beneath the surface?

I guess it just the way I was brought up.

His wife is Miccosukee.

I understand that the "mountain" is on the Miccosukee reservation (part of which is perpetually leased from the state). As they broke off from the Seminoles awhile back, I was puzzled by BDD's statement below:

Which bring about another question if, in fact, cloud mountain is part of the leased land. Who would own the "large amount of gold" and the "pile of silver" beneath the surface? It may be that BDD will be back to the State of Florida looking for permission to dig. Maybe you would know.

I dont know if this is updated but this may be what you are referring to.

RESERVATION AREAS

The Tribe also has a perpetual lease from the State of Florida for 189,000 acres, which is part of the South Florida Water Management District’s Water Conservation Area 3A South. The Tribe is allowed to use this land for the purpose of hunting, fishing, frogging, and subsistence agriculture to carry on the traditional Miccosukee way of life

But I think Cloud Mountain is further north. Wouldnt that be considered Alligator Alley Reservation? Or is it south? I dont really know because I never bothered to ask but I always thought it was north of the Alley.. The Lost City is south of the Alley.

The Miccosukee tribe is different in one way from every other tribe. They never surrendered to the Union and are considered a sovereign nation. They have their own rules. I don't pretend to be any kind of expert on this but I don't need to be. When I was asked by Duane Billie to come down and meet him it was because of my posting about my belief in the location of a large amount of gold north of Alligator Alley on their reservation. I believe they own this land. Maybe I am wrong. Duane was a police officer and while I knew him he became chief of police for the reservation. When we went into the swamp he had a pistol, a large knife, a high powered rifle, a badge, a smart phone and the keys to get on any property he wanted to. He said he had things worked out as far as digging up treasure and the percentage he agreed to give me if treasure was found. I took a number of people to meet him and different methods of detection were tried out. Unfortunately he died before we could proceed to the next step.

I was contacted in the past by the member of the Seminole tribe whose wife is a Miccosukee to proceed with the treasure hunt/dig. Whether or not he or Duane had/have everything worked out is not my department. I am after treasure mostly for the adventure. Depending on what treasure we may find in the swamp I will leave it up to the lawyers to figure out if it comes to that.

I have a copy of the sizzle in my video file but I don't know how to put it on here. Any help please?

BigDogDad-
Would you be so kind to outline your research methods that you have put into place throughout the years?
I start to research, and within the subject I'm researching I find another subject or person to research and before long it's a snowball effect with a bunch of unfinished research and analysis paralysis and I haven't put boots on the ground to prove/disprove one thing. Frustrating![emoji37]
I can read by your posts that you have many things working, how do you choose which one to go with? What are your methods of research? And quite simply, where do you start?
