I don?t know what to think about this. It?s got so many levels to it. I found it probably ten years ago. Thought it was a blank button until recently I started cleaning all the plain ones to see if I missed anything. Sucks I cleaned it but would of never known otherwise. Anyone ever see one? I think one of the signatures in robert scot also says father of the . There?s lines and lines of script, levels of styles and depth drove me crazy trying to see exactly what was going on in it but I think it?s George as the four kings and the suits of cards , dated April 30 1789 4983AA7C-468F-4107-924C-A8320693FDFB.jpeg1F08A5DF-946F-4240-9546-09ABFE34A2C0.jpeg630DEF3D-600A-4513-8D8B-01E12425AD88.jpeg8B96036E-3C9C-49EE-8ED2-150D54ED44F7.jpeg1B10D235-72D4-4A73-BE66-432E9F58216E.jpeg50DE2371-54C6-45AA-87D2-231062EA9256.jpegimage.jpg

Washington usually has that hat on with the flower even if you can’t see what I see you have to notice the corrosion or whatever keeps switching to italics . It’s scripted out words and signatures. You have to turn it too . It’s just covered in micro engraving it looks like static when you can’t focus on the depth or the sheen . I gotta be imagining some stuff at this point but there’s dates I didn’t know .

I thought that was a chewed up harmonica. Always better to get a fresh set of eyes

Doesn't help much, but I can see an owl playing the accordion:

The area of highlight bottom left of the owl might be another one?
I have a 3 owl find (medieval hanging pendent) Just an example of multi owl depictions on a find. :>)

Well as much as I'd like there to be something on that for you I am sure it's just a worn button. Most likely it's just the phenomenon of the brain wanting to make sense of all the random static on the coin. The brain tries to make out things it's familiar with. I can't remember the exact term for it. Still regardless a cool old button don't get really old ones like that here in lame California.
