Out of place triangle shaped rock

Hi Jay,
Interesting puctures.
How new is the chipping on the top?
and what is this I have marked on the picture?

Looks to be a cache marker and judging from it's size, it may be large and a little farther away than one might think. The mark on the side represents a pen knife blade that tells one to cut across on a straight line. Paper maps a cut into pieces at angles that reveal compass quads. I would first shoot quads parallel to each face of the stone until you find yourself standing between two markers of some sort; similar to each other, even small stones or mounds. Double there box well. The pen knife side of the stone may face the cache site as well

Did anybody notice the letters under the circled area in Old Dog's photo in #1, or did I miss the reply?

I'm no expert, but based on what you all have seen in other posts, these letters look obvious to me, although they are faint.

Thanks Oddrock, I will try that. Now I just hope it isnt underwater while I'm there.
I am starting to get a handle on this site and want to thank all who have helped.

Jayheazy, here's some adjusted copies to "play" with. I adjusted the contrast and lighting in the first copy and then went with color and B&W neg. Don't let anyone try to tell you that field mice and earth worms made those figures.
Try rotating the photos 180 degrees and some of the figures make more sense.

Thanks Shortstack. I dont know what to make of the bottom of that stone yet.

I found this area within a mile of the riverbed carvings. I cannot make out the carvings in the center has anyone seen them before?

Jay,
I've spilled some ink on your 2 photos and here's what came up. The tags pretty well label my ideas on them.

That little guy would benefit from better light. I do think its telling you to look left along the bank. Jim

Jay,
How deep is the water there?
How possible is it to go in and if not clean it up ... just get a better photo of this thing.

Hey Thom, Happy late bday

That side of the river is deep, and there may be a recess under the overhang. I didnt see the carving until I was reviewing my pics.
I have seen that type of symbol before just cant think of where.

I will clean that spot next time im there ( feb in think).

I found 2 signs that match the campfire/mine symbol on my carvings. Pics to follow.

The tree I'm not sure about. I didnt have the chance to look for a confirmation mark, but it does point to the carvings (about a mile away).

I see a concrete foundation chunk with forklift scratches.

As far as recent chippings; water freezing inside would do that.

How it got there? Had to come off a truck. There has to be a road nearby, very nearby. If not. I'm full of it. ;)

This area matches the campfire/mine symbol on my carvings well. It is a 3 sided square, orientated correctly, has water flowing through the right corner like the smoke in the pic, and has a triangle confirmation mark. It is about 10-12 miles up stream from the carvings.

This seems like a place that " god will not destroy by flood again". Or maybe I am crazy.

I also caught a golden trout here, Hehehe

Forgot the pic

JayH:
The most important thing I see in these 2 photos is the carved face wearing a flattened helmet.

This doesnt look natural to me, but what do you guys think?

the pic of the outcropping with the Indian head is the more telling , his eyes are closed, you are near, take a bearing by standing with your back at his face..follow that azmiuth until you see the next sign, this one will be small most likely - and a shadow at the perhaps...go slow, take lots of pic, the next sign might only show up on a pic on your pc..!

I agree with dign and OD the triangle rock with the A, also has a large kinda disguised 'turkey track',
looking in the oppisite direction of the track..usually the cross bar of the A is the salient one..if this is all KGC , then I dont know diddly about them .. as I focus only on the Spanish..to keep it all separate..but the Indian looks like the next to the last sign..look for a little bird!
hope this helps, please ignore for the most part the pareidolia marked signs...they only will distract you an others...! and moving rocks is really not the classic way to decipher clues..only rarely will they have you do this..and as you saw there was nothing of importance there.
trying to help
