Out of place triangle shaped rock

The chief says, "Go 15 miles to the outcrop." Cuz his nose looks like the outcrop.
The camp is above the outcrop. Cuz the camp is above 1915.
The 5 says, "Walk to end of outcrop. Stop. Look down." Cuz the 5 is slightly facing down and the period is actually the 'stop' senctence character from the old telegraph days.

Maybe it is a story rock and the story is that someone pushed someone else off that outcrop and this is his way of telling where the bones can be found.

I think this has a place on that picture.

Whoooo. Now that would make sense. I was wondering about that out-of-place thing.

I've got a friend of mine who has some land in east Tx. and when he first got the land,it's about 1000 acres he had me come up to look at it,We drove around the property in a 4x4 jeep for a couple of days.Well one day we were walking on what looked like an old railroad line ,without the rails the way the ground was shaped it looked like it could have been a RnR line at one time, well out on this path was about 20 huge pieces of Texas field stone(this stone is white and rusty brown in color and has holes like swiss cheese in it,good for landscapping),this stone is not from this part of Texas at all.Well it took him a couple of years to find out that there was a RnR line there and it was dug up back in the early 1940's for the war effort. So I think I would find out who ever live there at one time if this had something like that.

Here is that closeup of the 1915

Using Old Dog's re-sized photo. The sidewise "V" and the "C" could be Roman numerals giving the number 500. Or the sideways "V" might be saying "less than". Another idea is the "V" is a pointer and the "C" is the symbol for a mine. Thus, "find the mine in that direction." The angle of the left horn is pointing at the Indian's nose. Maybe it's saying "keep your nose out of our mine." :laughing7: :dontknow:

what seem weird is the wind is blowing smoke 2 the right, both items, but the tp door is open against the wind, the cookn pot stand is a 90degree marker on right side left is dotted line, the smoke is going right thru the angle, the #5 is not 1 piece, looks like the pi sign or mine interance,on top, the other is a u and a dot. here r a couple with color change.

I have to give stilldign credit for finding this (before i ever posted a close up), but there is a nice 8 in the right bull horn.

Good eye hadji, Also the cheifs shoulders make a huge 8. This brings me to my next question. Since these are carved on a rock flat on the ground, how do you know which way to view it? Would they have hidden signs to be viewed from different angles?

Thanks Thom, for confirming (backs to the sun), I understand why my VI was upsidedown. Did the email to you go through? thanks again. RH2
