Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Timberwolf: Add my hunting partner Colin and me to the "chopper club" rolls. :icon_pirat: We were buzzed as we began some field work two years ago. We've also had our phones tapped since beginning our investigation into Bloody Bill Anderson. Then there is the tampering with our computers that has happened several times in the past 4 years. And don't forget the stalking. We've documented it all and have placed the documentation and photographs in the hands of an anonymous trusted third party in case anything should happen to us.

Rest assured that if you were living it rather than just reading it you would find a healthy dose of paranoia an asset .
Ask mi Amigo in Alamosa that has the affinity for mules and tilting windmills .

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Truckingbutch:

That would have been Don Quixoto Butch, not Don Jose'. The windmill
part that is. I have a sizeable collection of mule shoes if yours is not shod.
The Big Chill that surrounds SS's current situation is the result of non-stop
yacking and others getting him wired over spooks behind the bushes. Yes,
this thread might be monitored but instead of setting off alarms I believe it
is providing bellylaughs to the screeners.
But that has nothing to do with the viability of a "vault". One could exist
but likely a cache of weaponry. In the real world folks don't hide massive
wealth for long periods of time and then put a bunch of clues nearby and
just let it go to waste while continuing to stand watch. Really now, what are
these "Sentinels" supposed to do. Live in poverty while a fortune is right
there for the taking. To believe that you would need to also be convinced
that initiation rites of the organization would still be enforced. And that
penalty of tortuous death would need a large body of members executing
traitors.
I sure don't mean to discourage the effort though. I hope you guys find
something of historical interest and that you are rewarded handsomely.

All the best,

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

My mixed metaphors are a private joke between Don Jose and I that predates your posting here .
I can forge all my own mule shoes and install them , if needed . Thanks for offering yours .
My years riding with my grandfather as he made a living with a team of horses he always advised me:
"Pay no attention to the dogs barking . They stay in their own yard and the wagon keeps on rolling ."
He also carried a .45 Colt that insured that the dogs that came into the road to bite his horses never made it back to the yard .... So much for my liberal education .......

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

lastleg, if you haven't walked in their shoes (SS, T-Butch, OD, et al) don't crack jokes about being paranoid. Helicopters buzzing close once....maybe twice MIGHT be a coincidence. But, repeated happenings like this are planned events. My hometown is on the training route of the helicopter training units from Ft. Rucker, AL. for their cross country flights and they're coming over town a lot. But, they don't come over the same houses over and over again. The randomness is just that. NOW, with the helicopters coming right over SS and T Butch's homes, repeatedly is the result of someone's planning. People out innocently hiking through the mountains NORMALLY call out in a friendly manor to other folks they see in the wild. They don't act the way SS has described.

Were it I; I would take the offensive and go after the people on the ground in a flanking move. Get a couple of close friends working around behind the trails that are used by the "hikers" and round them up. Since the land is privately owned, that could be done on the basis of preventing trespassers / vandals. Of course, it is a whole lot easier for me, sitting here in Mississippi, to kibbutz what they should do. :dontknow:

Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"

Shortstack & Truckinbutch:

Your last message reminded me of a time I was working a buffalo hunter
camp in the Panhandle of Texas and lo and behold a helicopter buzzed over
twice. I have no idea what that was about. I was on a relative's ranch so
it didn't worry me but if I had been trespassing someplace I would have
departed post haste because that pilot was close enough to read my cap.
Now boys if Swiftsearcher's X is on private property that he has signed
access to why all the rukus? I know a lot about paranoia guys. One way
it occurs is behind substances associated with tremendous guilt feelings.
Your mind is telling you that a person you can actually see is not harmless
but actually an agent on assignment to follow and photograph your every
move. After you remove yourself from from those circumstances completely
the symptoms dissapear. If they do not dissapear you have a mental
condition that requires professional help. I am dealing with just that problem
with a family member.
Truckin . . . I aplologize for landing on your metaphor. Please accept . . . .

Morning Last leg: You posted -->

"That would have been Don Quixoto Butch, not Don Jose'. "
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are correct, Don Quixote had his physical windmills, I have my 'net' windmills.
Net windmills are those persons with exaggerated egos that love to prey upon those that they consider beneath themselves for one reason or another.
Sometimes it is for lack of higher formal education, spelling, vocabulary, or whatever they consider as below their level of logical reasoning, or understanding of conventional science at it's present level.
I occasionally have good hunting and sport.
Most of the TH group are just nice people sharing experiences, hopes, and thoughts.
It is the odd ones that give me jousting practice, and FUN !
Timberwolf:
I didn't mention another cause of paranoia, trauma. I saw some violence
during four years in the USN but nothing compared to what the soldiers and
sailors who served in the Vietnam War. Exposure to combat changes everyone
involved. A boy sent into a full scale life or death scenario can not resume a
normal existence after seeing and participating in a daily fight for existence.
The man who returns with life intact is bound to rerun the battles within his
mind. He's not crazy but I wonder about those who sent him there.
The captain of my ship was on recon in the Arctic Sea and never returned.
We were ordered to put our Icebreaker in harm's way north of Siberia. Photo
recon as the Soviet's moved their fleet south in 1963. Captain was in chopper
with a young pilot and paid the price for being so nosy. No Press. no CNN.
A Cold War causuality swept under the rug.
You asked about my TH activities? I started within a few years after dis-
charge. In those days you could hit vacant lots all day with no repurcussions.
People were friendly and silver was plentiful. As the nation changed and new-
comers invaded the blocks it became a hassel to find safe dirt. I began to
lose interest in urban coinshooting and more interested in treasure yarns.
After many dead ends I took up ghost towning which renewed my addiction.
That led to the high mountain deserted mining areas. There are at this time
sections of cattle country at my disposal but only when I can get away for
a few hours. Someone dear has become an invalid and I am needed to
provide round the clock assistance.
I enjoy the playful banter exchanged on this forum with those who have
paid their dues. If I step on toes, I am sorry. I try to tell it like it is and
sometimes I write in code or between the lines to advise the newbies. I
personally know several pros who stop in awhile then retreat to do their
own thing. If you are out there HM, examino cousin.
I have a personal interest in the area SSearch is working so when I gently
goad him on and up it's not an attack as some would take it. It is advise
I learned the hard way and not personal so get off your high horses and
return to the school lots and playgrounds for the clad reminders of a time
lost forever.
Timberwolf:
I knew dc back in the '70s when he was with C. Garrett. We had a little
dust-up over a groundhog and I got a Master Hunter BFO in return. Man,
he was fit to be tied but that's old and forgotton by now. He was around
on the forums a year ago but I haven't heard a peep since. Last I knew he
was on the hunt in the bluegrass state and I wish him great success. His
job put him in direct contact with some of the legends, Abe Lincoln, Karl,
Roy Lagal and Mr Garrett himself. All those guys were able to anylyze a
lead and proceed with no fanfare to get results. Newbies at that time had
some serious examples.
BTW all you guys who claim the bfo's only got a couple inches never walked
behind a Bill Mahan Coinshooter. Still in use 40 years later for certain jobs.
I've gone through maybe ten detectors from Whites, Compass, Fischers,
Minelabs and Tesoros plus old TR's like Gold Mountain and a Tech that used
18 AAA's and still have most of them. Each did a good job, except for the
GM, which was essentially worthless. What I have learned is to buy the best
of the top four manufacturers and save yourself a lot of grief.
Keep on beeping,
Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"
I believe Swiftsearcher wrote in an earlier post on this thread that the property where he's working belongs to a relative of his. That's why I suggested the trespass angle.
Could that blue and white helicopter belong to the Sheriff's Dept.? Yes, of course it could. We have law enforcement choppers flying around our county looking for MJ fields and meth labs all of the time. But, the thing that's really curious in Swift's case is that there has been no face time with any law officers as a follow up. That's something that gets the ole antenna up big time.
Could the couple he spotted, a man and woman, be innocent hikers? Again, yes. But innocent hikers don't normally do everything they can to stay out of sight. They're relaxed enough to wave and yell out a friendly "Hello".
Could SSearcher be overly cautious? Yes he just might be, BUT what's wrong with that? Whatever may be in that vault will have some value at some level. Wether it's historical or monetary or both; it should be understandable for him to be as careful as possible in his project. Now, if it is a vault of g and s ; DAMN; we'll probably hear his and TButch's yells all over the country. OK, just the eastern half. :laughing7:
Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"
:icon_thumleft: VERY true, Ss. If it is "private property"... "Law Enforcement", DEA, ATF MAY well be looking for "pot", "meth labs", moon-shine. I DO know that ppl looking for the BEALE TREASURE,
in WESTERN Bedford County, Va. WILL be watched... by local Sheriff Dept., Feds (Rangers from Blue Ridge Parkway), DEA... a BIG Meth Lab "bust" was made last year or so in Montvale, Va. :o Beale Treasure "hunters"... take due notice, thereof. :D :wink: :coffee2:
Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"
Rebel-KGC ,
A very viable scenario . Happens a lot where I live . The other anomalies in this instance don't follow that . Texas Jay has an interesting idea on what is going on if he cares to share it . If he doesn't I'm
fine with that .
All I have posted is what I have hands on , boots on the ground , seen with my own eyes .
Interestingly enough , to answer another poster ; although I find nothing wrong with it , I have never
hunted a tot-lot .
Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"
Rebel, I spent six years in the military and had some friends who helped with the drug helicopters in this area, when I was in the National Guard. However, unless things have changed, they only did this in the summer. It seems over 95% of the time I am in the woods, the helicopters are hovering around. When my friend from NJ and I were hovered over (really low) for over 5 minutes on one occasion, there was over a foot of snow on the ground! I can rule out the helicopters being drug searchers, b/c I know what those helicopters look like and can rule out the marijuana aspect as well, as my friend from NJ and I worked over two weeks in the winter. In fact, that was how we readily noticed the horses' tracks around my Jeep (in the snow). Than, I caught the two individuals later in the Spring when my daughter was with me and we left the mountains early, due to her falling and jabbing a stick in her leg.
Also, I believe if it was the govt. looking for a meth lab, they would have sent boots on the ground after the first time they spotted us and then found out all that was hidden in that area were some hammers, chisels and tools and would have seen that we were simply "prospecting" in the rock formation and that would have been the end of it.
Plus, it is weird that when I went back, after my friend from NJ went home, the first day back, I noticed that all of our tools were there (over $300 worth). However, a $5 rope cached with the tools was missing. When Truckinbutch and I went, I had been there the week before with another friend, checking on things and all was well. However, Truckinbutch noticed the last jug of vinegar I had hidden under a large rock and covered with leaves was opened and out beside the large rock in the open.
I sell vintage baseball cards on eBay and when I talk with people for 1-3 hours at times about card deals, there are no problems with my phone. However, as Truckinbutch and Old Dog can attest, as well as others, when I talk about the "vault", there are five-second periods where I can hear the other caller, but they cannot hear me, and this seems to happen after we say certain words relating to the "vault". One group of words in particular this happened after being said yesterday was "Hoot Owl Tree". Every time a "Hoot Owl Tree" was mentioned when I was speaking with my friends yesterday, this five second (on avg.) period on the phone happened (among a few other words or phrases)! This might well be a coincidence, but I seriously doubt it.
As for the helicopters flying over my home (usually 2-3 days in a row after I am out in the field). They might be picking up my four safes (the biggest had quite a bit of gold in it before I sold it recently when gold went up) and I have a five gallon pickle jug almost full of pennies, as well as some boxes of coins I have saved for my daughter? ??? :dontknow: I don't know how good the equipment is on these helicopters, but they might be picking this stuff up and think I have made it out with some coins/gold or something? Surely they do not think I would be stupid enough to hide something I found in my home, if I had found anything?
SwS > U may be near a "Restricted Area" unrelated to Ur search. HS monitors
Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"
I don't know why "Hoot Owl Tree" would be a key-word to start recording, unless it is some drug or terrorist slang I don't know about? :dontknow:
Also, I don't know why this area I am in would be "restricted", as it is over an hour hike from the nearest dirt road? I have been all over these mountains - starting ten miles away and have not seen any "restricted areas". Is my home and property a "restricted area" to me as well?
T-wolf, thanks for the link. I should have noticed that link before, as I visit Rense's website rather frequently.
Re: Opinions on this KGC "Vault"
Another one that sticks out is 888 (the number for Jesus)!
Heck, I may mess with them and download the entire list and send it to myself! ;D :D
