You beat me to it. I was just going to post this in a new thread! LOL!

Just wondering how easy is it to shoot down a drones with a rifle?

Is an American who is a terrorist really American? If you choose terrorism don't try to hide behind your nationality.

I really don't know, but I would assume they fly very quickly and you better be an exceptional shot!

As far as I am concerned no they are not really an American. However they are still entitled to due process, otherwise the govt could just claim anyone is a terrorist and take them out. Even if it is over unpaid parking tickets...

They killed Buddy Holly, Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley just to get rid of rock n roll.

I'm ok with the elvis hit

What about that Fort hood Shooter? Can a American be a terrorist? (Not in this administration)

Completely agree. They are traitors to this country and have lost their rights as citizens. The gov should treat them no differently than one would treat an armed intruder in their house. I don't see too many posts here talking about armed citizens holding criminals breaking into their house to make sure they get their constitutional "due process"?

Hey Stockpicker! As far as armed intruders goes people have to ensure their own safety.

Exactly. And so does our country. Terrorist attack going to kill a lot more than a few people in a house. Even more reason to take out these terrorists correct?

I agree lots of reasons to take them out, however if we start throwing out citizens rights were do we stop? Now if it occurs overseas than I agree...take em out. Just not in our own country...

Yet you believe that any citizen has the right to kill another person if they are being threatened / house being broken in to?? I guess I don't understand the difference. If the police could have taken out the Boston bomber before he let off the bomb shouldn't they do that?? Or do they need to grab him and read him his Miranda rights?? Seems kind of foolish doesn't it?

Drones, drones, drones - why are all you people so fearful of an inanimate object?? Drones do not kill people.

Well, I think this administration will do what they feel they need to do. And it may not necessarily be for the protection of American citizens....

Seems to me I remember Whitewater.... Weren't there about 27 mysterious deaths surrounding that controversy?

maybe I missed something, have there been drone strikes here?

I agree, it is a touchy situation. The problem is if the govt can just take someone out and claim they are a terrorist than where does it stop? After all many on the left call people on the right terrorists. I don't like opening the door up to slippery slopes...

whitewater was clinton wasn't it?
