U.S. cannabis shoppers face a market flush with illegal weed

They have over-run the ability -strike that - the funding of our local government and apparently the ability of the Federal Government. The Hmong and Chinese cartels have invested in attorneys in order flip the laws protecting Americans against Americans. It’s very effective and disgusting. It also reduces the number of operations carried out to stop them.

The “illegal farms” in southern Oregon are pretty tame compared to what’s been going on in Northern California.

Carbofuran?
Have you drank a tin cup of water containing organophosphates? Look em up. That plant magically absorbs and stores chemicals. What is carbofuran used for and why would you add it to the water (stored in the cistern)? What would the point be? How much would need to be packed in to “treat” 80,000 plants?

I knew there would be excuses. “Reefer Madness” PLEASE. The only madness is old hippies ignorantly defending cartel grows on public national forests. Sorry. I meant that as in older folks who’s knowledge is limited to how it used to be and how they have grown. The cartels don’t do it the same way.

“It’s just a plant” Uh ok, I’ll overlook the bullshit that’s going on here that is not a plant.

I’ve enjoyed a few times. I don’t have a chip on my shoulder other than because of the foreign nationals ruining MY land.
Sounds like you have a people problem. Clean that up first.

All I can say is beware what your putting in your body. It’s not all simply a “natural plant”. It can have chemicals that affect your nervous system if it came from cartel grows.

Can't speak for other states, but I do know that Washington has set some fairly strict standards, and every crop must be tested and approved prior to packaging. They also do periodic checks of bud sold at retail outlets.

Would it be possible to circumvent the testing process? Can't say for sure. Those that want to will usually find a way, but it would be at a huge risk to the packager.

As for carbofuran, which I believe they would have used to control fungus gnats, is illegal and unavailable in the US. Gnatrol, a natural biological larvicide, is more effective and 100% safe to use. If the indoor growers do their job right, they shouldn't have any pests to deal with. Outside is a whole different can of worms.

I just know what I’ve walked through and it’s a massive scale.

People have told me that Mexican bud is trash. I suspect much of it is made into honey oil so people can covertly use (high schoolers can vape it without anyone suspecting). Not sure if these chemicals cook off during that process. It’s not anywhere near”natural” by the time it hits retail packaging.

There are tweakers that scrape pine resin off of pine trees and they somehow burn it in a glass pipe with the honey oil. It’s funny to see them along the road pretending to check their tire. As soon as you drive by you can see them rush up to the trunk and start scraping pitch off the wounds they have inflicted in order to produce pitch.

Crazy world. I would certainly not want to inhale pine resin into my lungs! “All natural” though.

Yep! We get tested quite a bit. Our plants are organic and stricter testing is required. Dispensaries get all our product and they check them out also.

Locally Grown. ahh yes, life is grand!
