Dave, every single election has individual examples of voter fraud - even local elections do. Do you think the fraud is at the level described by some of the posts above where we are talking about millions of votes that would change the election outcome? Or do you think you have presented a few cases of anecdotal evidence. I think it's quite assuming to believe you know what I am and am not informed about dont you think?

Sure, good question. My thesis is that if there was massive voter fraud - enough to sway the election results - I believe the Republican Party would have immediately created an uproar an contested the election. This line of reasoning was in response to numerous posts stating that the election was "stolen" or the results invalid due to fraud.

Actually if say both sides whine like little children at any little thing they think will make the other side look bad. Personally I think this is one of the big problems on why nothing gets done down in DC. During elections both sides have their secret and not do secret monitors out all over the place. You don't go and contest and election years later. And again when it comes to the fox story you mentioned I am obviously making the distinction between examples of each side of small local infractions and what had been claimed which is a national voter fraud conspiracy.

Personally I hold both sides accountable. Don't give EITHER side a free pass. The system makes you "choose" between one side or the other when in fact you really don't have a choice and both sides stink.

We do have some common ground. Both sides stink.
Both parties have moved to the wrong side, they seem to quibble about the best way to subjugate all of us, Every law passed diminishes our liberty. Laws already established are not enforced so that there can be a stronger more infringing law.

When one side uses an argument that does not get even near the truth (like "170 million jobs will be lost by sequester, and to help prove that point the government releases a few thousand criminals before the event), the other side remains silent and allows the content of the conversation to be morphed into something else entirely by ignoring the sensationalism of the claims.

The 2nd Amendment is under attack in the same way. One side screaming that there are dead women and children strewn about the country like cordwood, the other side just saying something like, "come on now, there are places that I can go without stepping on a dead body." That part is made up but it seems like this is the argument they make. Thus furthering the lefts agenda.

Didnt seem to hurt the bush chad case much when he contested? And even if they knew they were going to "lose" they certainly would have launched the lawsuit just to get the PR value. Everyday you have dozens of "leaks" to the press or official statements of every tiny little infraction that might make the other side look bad - right?
