Nugent nails it

Damn! I agree with his last statement!!! Dead offender IS better than a repeat offender. I remember watching this the night it happened.

Ted is correct, why in this country do we continue to lock up and release violent repeat offenders.....

No one has the right to tell someone they can not defend their self with a firearm, especially a 2 bit wanna be dictator who has dozens of armed body guards 24/7.

The 2nd amendment is my license to own a firearm PERIOD....

I still Don't believe the Death sentence is a Deterrent .

But that is the one Crime I can go :headbang: over a death sentence.
I wouldn't have found the father guilty

Because if we did'nt try to rehabilitate them where would all that money go??? I for one say if your guilty of a hanious crimes there's no release you should rot or get the needle..Those should be the only options they get.. Not to go to counseling and get turned loose to commit more crimes.. The true crimminal in this is the person who first thought up the idea of trying to rehabilitate these animals... Ted Nugent just says what everybody else is thinking and are afraid to say.. He is a true American and 2nd amendment advocate and if he ran for office would surely get my vote..

Well it appears to me that Ole Uncle Ted hit the nail on the head, or a better way to look at ,,,,he hit the offender right between the eyes!!!!!!!!!!!Hahahaha

rotting in a dark padded room with no light 24/7 Beats the death sentence 10 Fold

a good rope costs less than gas or the needle.

Trouble is they want do that, not considered humane, instead they get cable tv .....

I think making little rocks out of big rocks with a sledge hammer 12 hours a day, 365 days a year is good too ..

Question: How many more kids will that guy molest?

Question: When you hang a murderer, how many more people will he kill?

I believe public hangings every Saturday evening on ALL TELEVISION CHANNELS -- DURING PRIME TIME would actually be a GREAT deterrent to becoming a criminal.

Sorry we're getting off Topic of Gun control here,
but there used to be Public hangings,
& the fact there was more then one
Proves they don't stop crimes.

they stop the person who committed the crime from committing another,
but so would life in box

a good rope can be used over and over again --gas and bullets ciost money and the scum should be dispacted as cheaply as possible --they have cost the public too much as it is --and not just money.

The "scared straight " programs have been shown to be effective, I think forcing juvenile delinquents and 1st time offenders to view the final result of the path they are on live as it were would convince some to choose a different path..

There is also the cost to the taxpayers to provide fee room and board and medical care to consider, although I will admit the chance someone was wrongly convicted is a strong argument for life sentences...

that's where I'd never support a harsh sentence.
If there is no unimpeachable witness,
or Admission, there is always a chance the person is innocent

I don't understand why it's not just a given that criminals should be made to work. They are costing society lots of money. There shouldn't be one single piece of trash in the side of any road. Put them into labor camps to grow crops and raise livestock so we don't have to pay for their food, etc

Jeff, if the hangings back then had been televised across the country instead of just localized viewings they would have deterred many more criminals. The desire to live is very strong.

Nugent, nailed it for sure. I feel the same about offenders. Shoot the *******s dead! Not give them cable tv.!

Ted Rocks! I totally agree with everything he said. I personally, am sick to death of the tolerance we, as a nation, give to criminals. These people do nothing but prey on the innocent.
I, for one, do not believe in a life sentence. If an animal has committed crimes that are heinous enough for this person to be deemed a threat to society, beyond redemption (which would equate to a life sentence in prison), then this person is worthless to society. He/She has no right to drain financial resources that should go to education, social security, or any number of other valuable services. There have been times in my past when I struggled to feed my kids, but my tax dollars got taken every payday to ensure that Lifers got three meals a day.
Back in the day, you got stretched for stealing a horse. We have moved way to far the the other way. My opinion... A box of bullets is cheap..No More Life Sentences.

And then I see and article like this one and I truly can't believe it.

This is from a news story in Ca. Oct.2012.

" A California man retaliated after an alleged burglar shot him in the head — and got sued for it.

Samuel Cutrufelli, 31, allegedly broke into 90-year-old Jay Leone's house and shot him in the jaw. Leone fired back at Cutrufelli, who is now bringing a lawsuit against Leone for shooting him "negligently."

Really????? It is unbelievable to me that we, as a society are moving down this path. What is happening?????

I believe that the 2nd Amendment is our license to protect our families, and you can bet that if anyone broke into my home, they would get up close and personal with my 2nd Amendment Rights.
