New twist on the LDM.

Yes, there are a number of openings at the back of the crevice.
Should be interesting to see what it's about, once I can get past the brush and all the way up there for a closer look.

One thing is for sure . EC never did the measurements from the saguaro in the Needle Canyon . For unknow reasons , he was confused and " saw " another saguaro from another place .
Maybe he had put in his mind as priority the LDM and started from there to search for the nearest marked saguaro .
 

Which mine is this? Anyone ever just look for tailings/out of place talus slopes. You can see the needle in the background upper left, it fits some of the maps and has a trail you can see going to it even on google earth. A bit of a hike up the ridge and back down in your hot weather though. Anyone explored this location much?

The tailing pile is pretty large and obvious if you didn't see it. Or is it just a "natural talus slope"?
