new show on the dutchman

See Cat,

The problem is that the moment they say they found the LDM, that's the end of the show. HAHAHA Sort of like how big pharmaceutical companies don't want to cure cancer. They want to find the right combination of drugs that will let you live with it. That way they keep selling you drugs. As soon as there is a cure for cancer, Big Pharma loses a crap-ton of money.

Also, publicly saying that The Pit Mine is the LDM would mean a couple of BIG things:

1. It was in the SWA (Superstition Wilderness Area), where it is highly illegal to mine. If that was publicly stated, then the Feds would have to get involved in finding out who had anything to do with it.
Why not let the feds have at 'em? And even so, no matter what the pit was, if it was worked the same problem exists. Ergo, nothing about enforcement would change, right? If the feds 'would have to get involved' then they should have been already. It has obviously been worked, right? Take another cut at that idea.
2. People would want proof. Since 1891 (when Waltz died), the LDM has been "found" a few hundred times by a bunch of different people. If anybody had any of the actual proof....... see #1.

I do NOT believe the Pit Mine is the LDM. The Peralta/Gonzalez Families supposedly (I believe it but had to add a disclaimer) had about eight mines in the Superstition Area. I think the Pit Mine and the Mormon Stope (of the Mammoth Mine) were two of the Peralta/Gonzalez Mines.

Mike

So Gollum if the pit mine is not the LDM and you believe the others are P/G mines, Then that lends me to believe you think the LDM is not even in the Superstitions but in the Goldfield Mountains.

Plus if there was a statute of limitations, depending on the legalities and how long ago, it is possible that this may have expired for such an activity.

Howdy Paul,

With the same due respect that you are so worthy of, you will never solve anything by sitting on a fence. I know that you are afraid to jump to one side, and fall on the toes of one of the many friends you have made in the Dutch Hunters Rendezvous.

Many of these old time Dutch hunters just want to be recognized for their search, and just want you to believe they found something. Taking the word of these old "experts" is one of the reasons many are doomed to fail in their own search. You know the "Pit Mine" story well enough to know that what has been taken out of there was silver ore, and know that the area is surrounded by old silver mines.

You are also aware that the LDM clues do not fit that mine. Does it lie even five miles from Weavers Needle? No. Is Weavers Needle south from there? No. Even the so called gun sight clue, which is not a clue at all, does not fit, it is backwards. How do you jump from say from second water all the way to that pit mine? How can you dismiss so much of the known clues, and remain on the fence?

Homar
Hi Homar - hey, no problem with disagreeing - it's a good way to continue discussions and for people to continue learning things.

That said, I did want to respond to something you brought up. For the record, I don't consider myself to be a "dutch hunter" which is one of the reasons why I don't choose sides in any of this stuff hoping to get inside a group that may or may not give me insider information.

As far as I'm concerned to be a true "dutch hunter" would require me to live close enough to the area that I can get out in those mountains more than once or at most twice a year which is all I can do now. Living close by would also allow me to get to know some of the people involved in dutch hunting far better than I do now - while I've made some friends, most are really only aquaintances just because it's impossible to really become friends without spending time together.

Until the day comes that I can actually move there, the LDM is a hobby to me albeit an obsessive one, but still just a hobby. One day maybe I'll be able to move to the area and be able to get out in the mountains every day for awhile and REALLY get to know those mountains and some of the people involved :)

there is no statue of limitations on taxes...if the irs thought you found the ldm and didnt give them their so called cut....it would not go good for you

Thanks Gollum and Old for the info tying the pit mine to the LDM and why it is believed it may be the LDM etc.

AZDave35, as I said, no disrespect to you at all , but that was an easy and satisfactory answer from these two and a place to start to look up the info ourselves, I would in no way ask for names and didn't care nor want you outing people by name and betraying any of your friends, etc..... just asked for info to back up that statement you posted, without putting it out there like there is some big "inside loop" that you have to be accepted into this inside group before you can find things out. You put the statement out there, and I and cat in the hat just asked how it was known. You incited a response by people interested in the LDM by the statement you made. That's all. Have a good day my friend.

like i told the cat in the hat...the info is out there if you want to do the research..i got my info the hard way...i spent 35 years researching and hiking and mining..

Yes. But unfortunately I seem to be the target of a certain moderator here that likes to delete my posts. As long as that keeps happening, I don't really have the desire to post video links. I'm sure you can understand.

Mr. Moore?
Michael?
Mike?
Mikey?

What happened?
Did you get lost in mounds of guano?
Did your drone suddenly turn on you and chase you from the wilderness?
What about the Black Legion? Did they scare you away?
Did you find the DLM and high tale it to the Ping Islands?
Did a Jesuit death trap decapitate you with a clumsy fall?

How could you answer that?
Seriously, where are you? Lots of us are waiting for the next video installment.

Anyone know the whereabouts of Mr. Moore and his latest videos?

If it was my threat of legal action, I am sorry!
It was just a funny.

The statute of limitations does not apply when the prosecutor can show a on going. Conspiracy to conceal the crime.
Based on many statements I have read over the years. That would not be hard to prove. I think they should continue to keep silient. Thats what I would do,

Also I read on one of these threads a long while back that a tin type of jacob was found. Including his name being inscribed into the tin type. I dont know any man who keeps a pic of himself lying around.

I also read the mine was silver with gold pockets. Waltzs was clear that it wasnt a silver mine, Atleast thats what Ive read.

Post deleted.....Please keep politics out of thread...
Treasure Hunter,
Please help!
I know that Ryan's thread was locked. I was hoping that it was a temporary thing. But now it's just gone! Could you explain what is happening?

There were some good posts on that thread and not just Ryan's!
Anything you can tell us would be appreciate.
Thanks!
Hal

Hal, it was deleted at RMJ's request after he removed the video link... He has also requested his account be deleted... Admins will delete it on Monday.... It was a soft delete, it is possible to restore it....

Because he does like rules... You can not Attack TreasureNet and expect the post to remain and not be warned, and if members ignore warnings there are consequences...
