I thought it was pretty eventful this week.
but No Bikini little bit O leg but No Bikini

Well they Supposedly Metal detected a Ring they claimed came from a Jesuit .

But then they are still claiming they found a Block & I hook from the same period that
was used to haul the Treasure Up the ledge.

No maybes from them. They talk like it's a Done deal on the I.D.s.

and same with a square nail.

which is not making them sound too realistic.
more like KG & Ringy finding George washington's Tooth paste type antics.

Then they claim to see someone spying on them.
the Guy has a Cloth covering his lower face like a Bandit
(I seem to remember one of the crew doing that, their first trip to the island.
perhaps that was when they were preparing to film this)
& they chase him through the woods.
and apparently he isn't afraid of snakes.
When they catch up, it looks like he & a Buddy have a sack & are poaching snakes.
I personally think it's just for drama as the end preview for next week
suggests they get in an argument with them.

Previews also suggest more Caves & Rock art carvings are to be found
with directions to the Treasure Cave .
Probably in the last 5 minutes of next weeks show.

I really don't like their beginning Preview of the shows
is of the ending of the show.

I still find it interesting, But their editors need slapped as usual.

also notice how awake and alert Snake Bite Guy is when he gets up from his "nap"
but then they still need to go back to the ship and take a vacation to another place to look at a cabin while snake bite guy R&R's

Maybe no bikini shots, but have you noticed how often on this last episode the camera man "Just happens" to be behind her filming ??

Finding that ring did look like a positive step. I like Cappy, he makes no bones about wanting NO part of the island. It is interesting that the other guy spent something like 42 years looking for the treasure. My attention span isn't that looooooooooooooooooooooooong. If there was that many shipwrecks in the cove of that other island, I think I would concentrate there and probably snag something faster which could generate greater rewards with fewer risks.

I was looking on-line to re-watch this last episode of Snake Island and this movie popped up. I have not watched it yet, but will, just to see if this is based off a movie.
Movie is called: Pirates: Quest for Snake Island
BlackJack Cutter and his crew discover a map to Snake Island, a deadly place where treasure awaits along with deadly, giant beasts ready to devour anyone who sets foot there. Cutter must race against time and against his enemy Killian, a ruthless Pirate who will stop at nothing to defeat Cutter and send his ship to the bottom of the sea.
When I watch it, I will see where they leave the block and what they haul up the cliff and then can call Snakeman and tell him how his quest is going to end.

Because of black market demand by scientists and animal collectors, wildlife smugglers, known as biopirates, have been known to visit Ilha da Queimada Grande, too. They trap the snakes and sell them through illegal channels–a single golden lanceheads can go for anywhere from $10,000 to $30,000. Habitat degradation (from removal of vegetation by the Brazilian navy) and disease have also damaged the island's population, which has dwindled by nearly 50 percent in the last 15 years, by some estimates. The snake is currently listed as critically endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List. While that might make Snake Island slightly less terrifying for humans, it's not a great deal for the snakes.

This is like the first "Survivor" where they had to evict people who were squatting on the uninhabited island before filming could begin.

I was watching the guy use FLIR and then they would cut to an areial view and then that leaves you to wonder why don't they use the FLIR up there ? Or is that to far out of the range. And if they do have an airspace restriction, how would they enforce it ? Their 2 man Navy shoot them down with their rubber bands ?

There's so many angles and views the pics are taken from, the filming crew has to have at lest two boats, a helicopter, diver with a camera, etc.. I wonder how large the support ship is, with the nice kitchen and comfrey beds, and showers? Or do you think they head to the hotel on land every evening?

So, do you think they will find out who the snake poachers on the island are? And where's their boat, I don't think they are sleeping in the cave.

Jeff that makes sense, if they are scientists or herpetologists and have permits, but then the TH'ers are playing hide and seek with them. More time wasted because neither side is doing what they came there for, maybe their boat is on the other side of the Island.

Well we may find out in tomorrow nights episode...or not. Maybe they will have a sit down with the snake gathers and they will tell them where " a cave with strange markings" is. What ya think?

There is a doctor on site with the appropriate training and anti-venom. It's part of the contract and permits.

You want to hear some bad luck? I sat down to watch the last episode and a power transformer blew somewhere and killed my electricity. It went off at 9:55 and came back on at 11: 15. They usually have many reruns, but I haven't caught one yet. Been busy on the 3D printer making Jurassic items like raptor claws from museum scans. I am gold plating them and mounting them on red velvet. It takes 10 hours to print one raptor claw! Frank

You have been a busy man! All the Jurassic movies should be a plus for your raptor claws.

They repeat a lot of the pervious shows so you will probably get the main points of the last show from tonight's episode.
