Ok what do you think is in the box? A piece of paper with more clues, a small treasure trinket,...pay checks for the past episodes? What? Ah! I know! It's a new bikini for Mehgan!

I didn't rewind & pause to look better,
But
I don't think it's even a Whole Box.
I think it's just part of one.
Perhaps close to a wall They can Surmise is where
the roof may have caved in on the Treasure.

infested island, going to have to look at the east side, has to be better places to bury

So the drone is hovering over their heads. They wave at the drone and the people on the boat see them wave, so they know they saw the flag.

The drone is RADIO CONTROLLED. It has a radio signal going to and from the boat.

But alas, the walkie-talkies won't work. Out of range.

The show ended with them sleeping in hammocks tied between two trees, on an island with snakes that climb trees. Whoopee, I'm sure glad I didn't have any bad dreams over that one, in fact I'm surprised I'm watching. Me and snakes just don't hit it off very well. Oh yeah, the meeting between the snake poachers/scientists sure turned out to be a bust. They never showed them, so it could have been part of the filming crew pulling off something to fill some time and add drama.

Probably due to line of sight.

Nope, the 50' altitude difference would not have changed anything.

If the drone was communicating, so would the handheld radios.

They tried the radio first. Drone not in the air or on. No conflict with frequencies.

They were not that far apart in terrain. The VHF radios would have made the short trip to the boat.

The data link is a harder link to maintain than the VHF handheld link.

Sorry, but it's BS to have to send the drone because the radio wouldn't work.

Just makes for better Reality TV. (if that's possible)

I have run across some serious snakes in my days...
And I mean serious.
The biggest rattlesnake/s I have ever laid eyes on live on Honeymoon Island north end.
Massive... 6+ footers.

Once in another place...
I was walking a park road... And a log was ahead of me that had fallen... and laid completely across it...
I was going to move it from the road... was early summer morning... sun was in my eyes...
as I approached within a few feet... I saw it move.

I jumped back and almost fell over.
Scared the crap outta me.

If nothing else, we will know that Meghan made it out alive. When she announced that she was going to take a shower I figured there would be such a stampede that the boat would roll over. Then she showed off by reaching over and shutting off her light switch with her foot. Sorry Msbeepbeep, sometimes I am a pig I guess.

We have not seen the entire entourage behind the scene, Meghan may not be the only female there.
Don't worry about it, truth doesn't offend. I was wondering about the foot/light switch thing, thought maybe she was telling the cameraman to get lost.

I am a sucker for a "reality" program with the word treasure in it. It is best viewed after being DVR'd. As with all these programs, after a commercial, they spend and minute or two showing what you just saw before the commercial.

Who put this team together anyway? A herpetologist who jumps into huge ocean swells infested with sea urchins against a rock face and a free diver/model?

Well, I'm with you Dave. I like the treasure thing too.
Here's my take: Most producers didn't have a normal childhood, roaming around in the woods and swamps like us. So, why would they have the faintest idea what would make a treasure show go together or who to cast? I could tell inside of 2 minutes whether I would want someone in the woods with me or not. Not them.

I still say strap a go-pro on some of the TNet members and it would be a far more entertaining, and honest, treasure show.
Yes there would be a lot of bleeping out of words, but hey, as long as there was enough words left to get the idea across.
