You are just so right Jeff. Was so excited for Z nation to return, I had it marked on my calendar for month. Walking Dead is fantastic, but Fear The Walking Dead is so far a snooze fest.

WHICH I might add... the coins were found in the water... NOT on the island...
Which so far is the ONLY indication/proof/spot where they might find more.

Personally ... after finding those coins in the water it would have been a full on SCOUR of that area...
I would have never even stepped foot on the dang infested rock.... even with a suit of armor and flamethrower...

This Island has been searched over and over by Treasure Hunters since the spread of the legend... like ALL islands branded with a legend of similarity...
A. Treasure was found long ago and removed.
B. Treasure remains... but has eluded the eyes and hands of hundreds and hundreds of searchers. (which means it would also definitely elude theirs as well)
C. Treasure is no longer on the island... or never was... and now lies in the water... either in part... or as a whole... due to one reason or another.
What perplexes me is the fact that coins are found in a relatively short time... almost immediately in the water... yet they choose to leave this spot and risk time over and over on land...
Land that has been searched thoroughly... with NO "hits" thus far...NO evidence... and a history of being scoured to the ends of it.
Not that "bright" IMO... "Hmmm lets leave this precious coin finding area and seek a more dangerous new one". (greed ? Pompous ? Vanity ? Stupidity ?)
I guess they believe they are "the chosen ones" ... with cameras... heh

But I would rather stick to a "trail" that bares fruit.

I still think that ship wreck is a protected Historical Site.
and either the coins were for Show, or had to be replaced or Turned in.
although it may have been in the script for Drama,
