Well,, I got a call from the Social Security Administration. They said that my Social Security account has been frozen. They wanted to know if I had received a call from my local Police Department.
Then the guy tells me that a car with my name, and bank statements, blood, and traces of drugs was found in the southern part of Texas.
The guy asked me if I had any questions. I said no.
He hung up. Must be a scam although I should have given him Sam's address.

Usually they follow that up with....but for $600 I can make this all disappear....and we will take any form of card including cash cards you can buy at 7-11. I will even hold while you drive to Walmart and pick up a card. Lol
Gotta love them scammers. Next time you get one ask them if they have a English representative because you are struggling to understand the callers English....for some reason this really triggers them and they get really mad and will blow their cover very fast by cussing you out...and you mom...and your cousins....etc.

This does sound funny. You could call your local SS rep but you might causex those folks to actually freeze your account while they move with glacial slowness to investigate.
For 5k my Fairy will investigate and get back within seven days. If you are compromised, clearing it up is free. She would normally do this for free as Fairies are not interested in cash. But she understands it takes money to keep the lights on, and fresh haddock for the Fish Girl. Guess I am also on the hook for Sea Serpent as well.
Gosh. When I was a kid the most I had was a stray puppy. Life was simpler.
