Naturallly Occuring Formation OR Manmade Treasure Marker/Sign?

View attachment 1755799Its a portal to the land down under.

Protocol's are in place that I would not enter an area as such, do to being solo and so remote. That place will not be going anywhere so I will come back with some folks to look it over at another date.

Would you risk this one? How motivated are you?

No risk no gain. But being smart is the best thing for your survival. Drone time.

Here is what the portal looks like nowIMG_5147.jpgThey had about a 1000 foot of track stacked up I do not know how the hell they got it in there them old timers were tough.IMG_5138.JPG

The only way I would go in there would be with a track hoe that is a coyote hole there is nothing in there worth your life stay out stay alive.

It's a bottom entrance to a lower level of a 1700s Spanish mine that began on top with a vertical shaft. That lower drift is the only way in. You'd be a fool to try it. But, as Dirty Harry asked, "Do you feel lucky, punk?"

There you go trash talkin' again... What's your point?
It's obviously a foolish jest, spoken carelessly...

I would like to know and probably a few other here, how you determined that this was a 1700's Spanish mine.

The guys who opened it back up in the 1980s (shaft had been originally covered long ago) brought out lots of chicken ladders, old leather ore bags, tools, pistols and armor from inside that dated 250 or so years back. Same kind of stuff found at various places at nearby Santa Rita del Cobre after that copper/gold mine was converted to open-pit in the early 1900s (photo below). The guys collapsed the shaft and covered it again about five years after opening it - they never said why.

That is some serious steel. Something heavy was being moved. The symbolism in that area is strong. Great site there. If we could only get people to see what's there. If you can't see it oh well. There are many of us who can. Even in your pictures SD.

Yeah I will agree very interesting. Cross on the last picture. Can you read what is says? If not , it say wrath when turned up side down. As shown it say false faith. This is important when knowing what stones are good information. I have a question on the middle picture. Is that wood or stone in the picture?

Very interesting carvings,I am sure that was pretty exiting to find those out in the woods.

These are from a location I showed several pics of before, along the upper banks of an old river.
after several forks converged. Been planning to make it back to the rec. area, maybe camp & fish.
Run the cameras looking for wildlife, etc. Just curious to see the sentinel presence for good reason.

Yes, you can see three small stumps, left as part of a cache marker system.
