Found this on vacation in St. Martin last October. Maybee I should say she found me.

Daisy (That is the name a little girl gave the dog) was abandoned on a beach and was abused by a bunch of kids. She had cuts and scars all over her body from being stoned. For some reason she followed me everywhere. The day before I was to come home, I found out that a lady that runs an adoption program for dogs had paid to have her put to sleep. I contacted the lady and told her I would take her home and to call off the needle. She told me that she was having the dog put to sleep because it was more humane than having the kids stone her to death or drown her. She also told me that the dog was not very social and was afraid of most people.

After getting the dog all it's shots and quarantine period, arranging airfare and all the other details, Daisy is now living in central Pennsylvania. She is no longer scared of other people and doing just fine.

I did not really want another dog (already have a long hair Jack Russel) but I am happy that I brought her home.

This is Visceral's wife- Patty. I just wanted to let you know that your act of kindness touched my heart. I have tears of sadness and joy. Sadness for the cruelty that these children did to an innocent animal. I don't understand how children or people in general do inhumane acts like these. The only thing that we can do is pray for them.

I am so happy and joyful that there are people like you that care enough to make a difference. I will pray that God and his angels bless you and Daisy. Thank you!! And may God bless you and others like you. THANKS FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!!!! :)

Way to go. I found my little dog Dixie or Digsie she is now called due to her trying to help me dig up treasures....along a busy highway dodging cars. Her littermate was squished flat and her mother dog wouldn't leave it. So I found the dogs owner and she gave Digsie to me. Now she thinks she has to go everywhere I go and carries on something fierce if I leave her at home. Amnyway, anyone who would rescue a dog is a friend of mine. Glad to hear you and Daisy are faring well. Monty
