My first barber quarter and unknown item

I’ve found my first real good silver today and an unknown button/token that I can’t find on internet no where. But funny thing is I spotted the barber with my eye laying on top of plowed ground ,1895-S does anyone know what that is ?

After I got home looking at the pic I seen that ball looking thing too. I didn’t notice it at the time of finding the quarter I guess I got excited lol, but I went back the next day and the ball was a tree nut or something like that it squished easy like an old but hull.
