Went out poking around in the desert with a couple of friends now that the temperature is getting reasonable. We hit one of our regular sites where lots of buildings once stood. Still tons of targets everywhere. Some items are about 100 +- years old. Not shown is about 5-6 lbs of copper and brass scrap. When they bulldozed the site, lots of things were ruined, but, occasionally some intact glass and larger metal items survive, although not so much this trip. Oldest items in this batch are probably the GE light bulb ring that says 550 volts with a patent date of May 7, 1918. Also, a Ford model T valve stem cap. Another other is a U.S. Defiance shotgun shell head that was made between 1910's to 1926. Just 6 coins....2 zinc cents, 1 copper memorial cent, a clad quarter, a 1952S wheat and a 1936 mercury dime. Some makeup lids, a Tattoo lipstick top, an old lighter that I haven't I.D.'d yet, a small silver buckle, a couple of clock remains, a soap dish, a grease pot, etc. Fun day if not profitable.

Very interesting finds, love the colour of the glass insulator. :o
This is a cool looking little pulley, I wonder what it's function was used for?
