Congrats, Loco! Glad to see you posting again and what a terrific welcome back post you've given us! Absolutely beautiful key date. You've certainly earned it! Congrats again!

That's an awesome rescue Loco....one beep at the key time, eh?

Wow, an 1877 I.H. IS AN AWESOME FIND.Key date for sure. You will remember always where you found it.

One day searching through my dad's coin collection I came across an Indian Head that I couldn't really make the date out on. After using a magnifying glass I discovered it was a 1877 with a gouge in the last seven. You could make out that it was a seven and not a five. My dad took it to a coin store and the owner still paid out (I believe) ~$400 for it.

Congrats on a find of a lifetime and it's in beautiful condition. A great piece of history you've got there.

Obvious Banner. Not what I expected to see when I read your title. That is one very difficult coin to find and in great shape. On my bucket list. Great find brother

Damn I just looked at the better pics and thing thing is INCREDIBLE. Still a little dirt that can come off to make it even better. Wow that's nice
